Whaddya mean? Spurs have had some serious talent in the last five years (on top the best striker in England) and it's an absolute embarassment they don't have a single trophy to show for it, whether it be the FA Cup or the league.

Spurs have had a very good team, but expecting them to regularly compete for the league against Pep's Man City is a big ask tbh. It's a ridiculously expensively assembled side of world class players with probably the most influential manager of this generation of football.

Should they have won an FA Cup? Maybe, but it's a knockout competition so anything can happen in it... and in the most important cup, they went on a pretty decent run last season that took them to a final. They're unfortunate Barca gave us a crazy amount of money for Coutinho, which gave Klopp the money to buy Alisson & VVD tbh.

I don't think it's as embarrassing as it is just pretty unlucky. You need a lot of things to go right to be competitive on every level in England tbh, not always easy without deep pockets.

I'm not buying that at all, nobody expects them to win a league title but they have several cup competitions to win every year, and they've failed everytime. They have deep enough pockets to compete, they aren't bloody Blackpool or Wigan languishing in the depths of administration, they are regular European playing club in the richest league in the world.

Just because they can't spend 50,000,000,000 each season like Man City doesn't mean they don't have money or a huge scouting network. They've had the starting CBs of  Belgian golden generation, World Cup winning captain, the best Danish player for two decades, one of the best strikers in English history, several starting fullbacks for England, the best Korean player ever, and they spent what? 100,000,000 just this season three players.

Tottenham have had great players, great teams, and it is criminal they've won nothing. No excuses.
