It’s almost the macho bullshit mentality that if they just keep going, it all be ok. Being ripped apart every game does nothing for your confidence. I think one team got lucky and the player kicked on. VVD directly impacted what we had to pay for Maguire, plus the stupid English player tax that seems to exist.
