Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Hoping for Lincoln to go up myself. Just be good to see a different team in the Championship again.
Dave Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 My suspicion is Sunderland will have enough under Lee Johnson to get over the line and he will establish them as a mid table Championship side.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Blackpool twat Oxford 3-0 and pretty much puts them in the final. Hope Lincoln win tomorrow.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted May 19, 2021 Subscriber Posted May 19, 2021 Come on Sunderland. I can't bare the Lincoln Shitty fans winding us Grimsby fans up about there being a 3 league gap between us if they go up.

Sunderland just didn't really seem to get going and looked really lethargic. Going to need a massive improvement in the second leg. The advantage is that it'll be at the Stadium of Light and hopefully having the fans there in the stadium will spur them on and boost them.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 3-3 in the game between Blackpool and Oxford, meaning that Blackpool are in the final with a 6-3 aggregate score. Hopefully Lincoln finish the job and beat Blackpool now.
Dave Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I wouldn't mind seeing Lincoln or Blackpool win the final to be honest. Both clubs have recruite well with ambitious owners and there fans have gone through some hardship previously.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Yes Lincoln. Hopper with the goal from a corner. Free header mind. Piss poor defending. 2-1 to Sunderland in this game, 3-2 to Lincoln on aggregate.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Oh fuck off Lincoln. Had a penalty, Grant took it and and it was saved.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted May 22, 2021 Subscriber Posted May 22, 2021 Good game so far. Lincoln edging the second half. Sunderland need to do more of what worked in the first half and not let Lincoln dominate as much.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Sunderland win the second leg 2-1, but it's not enough as Lincoln win 3-2 on aggregate. Blackpool vs. Lincoln in the playoff final.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted May 30, 2021 Posted May 30, 2021 Already a goal after 40 odd seconds. Lincoln took the lead due to an own goal. Hopefully Lincoln score another few.

Administrator Stan Posted May 30, 2021 Author Administrator Posted May 30, 2021 Well done to Blackpool. I would start a thread but I don't want to take the opportunity away from @The Palace Fan because he gets all weird and obsessive like that.
Dave Posted May 30, 2021 Posted May 30, 2021 I've got a feeling Blackpool will be fine next season. There player recruitment has been really good in the last year since the takeover. It wouldn't surprise me if they avoid relegation at the expense of an established Championship club.
