After a poor 1st half performance by Ukraine, which saw them go 2 nil down. Zabarnyi has pulled a goal back through a header, as he connected with a cross from a corner. A Bardhi penalty and a long range swerving shot from Elmas had given North Macedonia a 2 goal lead at half-time. Ukraine are playing much better in the 2nd half.

Ukraine equalise through the substitute Konoplya! It was fine work by Mudryk on the right wing that set up the move, as Mudryk crossed the ball in the area, Konoplya struck the ball 1st time low and hard into the bottom left hand corner of the net! Ukraine playing very well now and will look to find the winner at this rate.

North Macedonia 2-2 Ukraine

Tsyhankov scores and gives Ukraine the lead!! What a turnaround for Ukraine in Skopje, North Macedonia. Mudryk crossed the ball into the area and Tsyhankov came running in and headed the ball past the North Macedonian keeper Dimitrievski!! This looks like a vital 3 points away from home for Ukraine.

North Macedonia 2-3 Ukraine

Easy 4-0 win for England against Malta, as they maintain their 100% record in these qualifiers. It looks like England will probably top this group, with Ukraine and Italy battling out for the coveted 2nd place in the group.

Ukraine's next match is against Malta in a few days time. Ukraine will look to score as many goals as possible against the Maltese, as goal difference could prove vital in this group. Ukraine will still be without key injured players Zinchenko, Yaremchuk and Shaparenko for the Malta match, but they will still expect to score several goals past the Maltese and secure another win.

England play at home against North Macedonia on the 19th of June. Again, England will look to secure another win and maintain their 100% record in this group.

It was an emphatic 7-0 win for England in the end against North Macedonia at Old Trafford. England maintain their 100% winning record in this group, as they secure their 4th straight win and gain 12 points.
