Dave
So it's been over a year now since the new owners came in with their vision for the club which involved immediately replacing Gary Rowett. Does this go down as one of the worst decisions in football? Theyre bottom of the league. Harry Redknapp spent a lot of money to try to make them a second Brentford and Gianfranco Zola nearly relegated them. All whilst Gary Rowett has turned Derby County in to a side that are playing as well as they did in Schteve McLaren's first reign at the club. Makes you wonder where they'd be if they stood by a Manager that had them on the crisps of the playoffs.
Chaaay AFC
Get what they deserve, it was an absolute ludicrous decision to replace Rowett when he was doing so well. Zola flopped at his previous two clubs, and it seems was given the job on name. Redknapp was dog shit at QPR and totally passed it. Glad to see Rowett doing so well, he has been brilliant at all the clubs he has managed and should surely have a Premier League job in the near future. Administrator Stan Posted December 20, 2017 Administrator Share Posted December 20, 2017 100% one of the worst in recent footballing times. I believe they were 7th in the league or just a bit further outside the play-offs at the time of his sacking. What a drop in fortunes for them. Danny
A shame for Brum fans as they seem to get no luck with owners but loving it overall. We made a mint off of them in the Summer, our captain went there who's been angling for a big payday for a few years now and said that the team they have is ten times better than our play off side, you'd expect a bit more respect there but not the end of the world, anyway he says that and then we go and beat them at St Andrews. Ever since they've been terrible. Both Birmingham clubs have been run poorly, Villa signed Hogan for close to £15m and don't know how to use him. Birmingham signed Jota and can't get him to play well...this is the joy of rich owners who don't have a clue, but obviously it's the opposite of joy for Brum fans... Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 21, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted December 21, 2017 Should be a massive club but given how bland and boring they've always been compared to a club with Villa's history and character I can't bring myself to be that arsed about Birmingham. Anyone who gives Arry another role of the football dice deserves what they get.

That story about Harlee Dean reminded me of Mark Hudson for us. He joined one of our rivals Charlton on a free transfer and claimed they offered him "the best ticket to get out The Championship". He wasn't wrong as 12 months later they were relegated
