Dave Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Quote Ruben Loftus-Cheek has not given up hope of earning a place in England’s World Cup squad, but concedes he is running out of time as he battles back from injury. The midfielder - currently at Selhurst Park on loan from Chelsea - has been out since late December with an ankle injury. But Loftus-Cheek was man of the match when England held Germany to a goalless draw in an international friendly at Wembley in November, and he may yet make Gareth Southgate's squad for Russia this summer.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted March 21, 2018 Subscriber Posted March 21, 2018 Is it just me, or do English players seem to be far more injury prone than most other nationalities? It is absurd how many England players end up with long-term injury problems.

Dave Posted May 23, 2018 Author Posted May 23, 2018 Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheeks says it would be "stupid to rule out England". After hearing him say it, I have to agree. A comfortable route to the quarters where the momentum built will see us win the whole thing.
Spike Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I fecking hope so. If he plays for England the next Chelsea coach CAN'T FUCKING IGNORE HIM.
