El Profesor Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Paulinho to Bayer Leverkusen is a done deal, according to ESPN Brasil. He will move to Germany in July after he completes 18 years old. Leverkusen will pay 25 millions euros to Vasco now, with the possible addition of 10 million euros in bonuses, depending on Paulinho´s performance. This is a huge, huge coup for Leverkusen. Despite being only 17 years old, Paulinho has established himself as an undisputed starter at a big club like Vasco da Gama and excelled at Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa Libertadores, the two most important tournaments in brazilian football. Paulinho can play in both wings and as a striker as well. He has good technique, and his composure to finish is impressive for a player so young. His father said they´d consider more the career development project that an european club had to offer him than the size of the club in a move. Bayer must have struck a good impression in them. It´ll be interesting. https://www.espn.com.br/futebol/artigo/_/id/4234194/vasco-vende-paulinho-sua-maior-revelacao-para-bayer-leverkusen

Guest Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Yeah Paulinho is great. Big loss for Vasco too, but the good thing is they'll get a good sum especially for the age he's at.

Brazil, once again, has a great group of young talented players and the future looks bright El Loco. I'm a big fan of Lucas Verissimo( santos) do you rate him high El loco? Yes. He is a really solid defender. Strong, tall and has good pace. Spartak Moscow almost completed a deal for him, but it fell apart. Vanderlei and him are a big part of their defensive success. Having said that, the real prospect at Santos is Rodrygo. Éder Militão is another young brazilian central-back to keep an eye, he can also be used as a right-back, a position where he is getting more and more comfortable. Manchester City is rumoured to be interested in him and it´s not a surprise, considering Guardiola loves young versatile players. 19 minutes ago, Blue said: Yeah Paulinho is great. That club is known for making some terrible deals. They sold Coutinho for peanuts to Internazionale.
Relling Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 The club has confirmed it https://www.bayer04.de/de-de/news/bayer04/brasiliens-top-talent-paulinho-wechselt-unters-bayer-kreuz It will be interesting to see how much playing time he gets. Plenty competition with Brandt, Bailey, Havertz, Bellarabi.
Faithcore Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 Sounds like a great deal for Leverkusen. 11 minutes ago, Relling said: It will be interesting to see how much playing time he gets.
