Max Meyer Banished From Training

Recommended Posts

Max Meyer’s career at Schalke looks to be over after the club banished him from training with the first team for the rest of the season.

Earlier this week, Meyer, who is out of contract at the end of the season, gave an interview to German outlet Bild in which he criticised Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel and accused the club of trying to bully him in contract negotiations.

Meyer told Bild: "I simply did not want to stay with Schalke and work under Heidel. It's all about this. Lately, it just feels like bullying to me."

This has been coming for some time - Max's treatment by both Heidel and Tedesco has been really unprofessional and he is hurting and his skin is not as thick as Leon's - otherwise this would have surfaced earlier, but Leon had his Bayern deal sorted. Recent games have proved that all is not well in Gelsenkirchen and only other poor performances from teams at the top have kept 04 in 2nd place.  The real problem is the pathetic 'team building' for next season - three other team's cast offs so far - Sane, Huth and now useless Baba not wanted by Chelsea but good enough for Tedesco.  Schopf after poor performances of late has had his contract extended. All that is left to do is to offer a new more expensive deal to Di Santo and the laughter will be heard as far away as Argentina!  Champions League next season?xD:dam:

Remember the song?'

Cause everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts
Don't throw your hand
Oh, no
Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone
No, no, no, you're not alone

The odds on Kloppy are getting better = particularly as Arsene's tenure in London is over and he was one of the leading forces in the discussions.  Max would also love to play CL football against 04 next season and that could also be at Anfield.  At least - unlike now - if he comes over he'll not walk alone....

End of season celebrations today after a weak performance and a win over an Eintracht side who turned up - just!.  Nice send off for Leon, but the rats spoiled it and left a nasty taste in the mouth.  Send-off for Pjaca after his disappointing spell -not his fault as he was hardly played, but not a sign or word about young Max who has given years to the Club both as a young kid and a German International player! Those who know ar aware that what he said was accurate and correct and today sends a message to anyone thinking of joining the present regime.  Next year's CL will be a embarrassment and perhaps there will be changes -hopefully not too late, but if not we could be seeing 04 swap places with Koln!

After more than 60 years of being there for them it hurts!
