Dave Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Liverpool defender Joe Gomez will miss the World Cup after undergoing season-ending ankle surgery. Gomez injured his ankle in March while playing for England, but was able to play through the pain barrier and start Liverpool's Premier League games against West Brom and Stoke City.
