Nice performance from the 'Green Boys' and one or two in there worth keeping an eye on!  Max has probably gone back home to watch RW Oberhausen - his old team in the next game.  This will be worth watching although can understand how so many are there on a Monday assuming it is Pfingsten

Not many goals going in during the first half - Dynamo Berlin (opponents of S04 in this year's Pokal) are 1-0 up in Berlin and Ulm have already got 2, but the strange one has to be Kai Nakowitsch for RW Oberhausen against RW Essen as Kai is a 23 year old from- yes - Essen. with a goal just before half time and it was quite a goal for a midfield defender!

Strange how the kids keep coming back - Kamil Bednarski ex Herne Student in Pestalozzi now levels the score for Essen at 1-1 - thought he would have been too  old to play with the kids now but still a nuisance in the penalty area!!!

Who needs goalline technology when the Assistant is as good as that!  The balls was over the line and Oberhausen won it - just.  Pity about the afters, but good game and a deserved win - just.  Dynamo through, Cottbus through.  Aachen and Koln go to extra time but the Aachen keeper deserves to be through - he was brilliant at times and will save at lleast on penalty if it gets to that.  as our Saabrucken friend said - probably talking to myself!!  PS

You would think that by now I would know that to make such a comment would be the kiss of death to a keeper - rotton luck to go one behind, but....

Back home from Elversberg. We played a weakened team therefore the loss is not as devastating as it could be, still I´m fuming at DFB for appointing this match today when the first play off match is already Wednesday. This not only applies for us but for Cottbus and Flensburg also, it´s a joke how the criticism of Bundesliga players having to play Thursday and Sunday let to Monday matches while RL players, who are much less pampered are forced to play  Monday and Wednesday of the same week.
