Well done by the red, called the captain for each team and I'm sure told then to control their sides.

Surely no red for Mendy...

Yellow card for sure, but that's not a red card

You can't push someone in the face. Red card all day.

No way, completely dramatic acting from Strasbourg there.

I'm shocked there isn't a yellow though

From the replay in seeing, there is no push, a hand to the face and an over reaction from Strasbourg.

I'm guessing VAR confirms

Wow - what was Lopes doing there?

Pretty well deserved as Strasbourg have not been poor today.

Game on. 2-1 lead for Lyon

Mendy should be off for that.

You can't raise your hands to someone's face. Just the rules.

Very dull first half of Monaco v Bordeaux...but the 2nd half has started well with a Falcao header from a Ballo-Touré cross.

Monaco beat Lille away! Big result for them to show what they are capable of...they've really put that terrible first half of the season behind them.

Lamine Koné has gifted the opposition 3 goals in the last two games. Today's was a ridiculous last minute hand ball to give away a penalty. Strasbourg need to drop him if they want to get back into form.

Elsewhere Guingamp climbed from 20th to 18th with a late penalty scored by Ludo Blas.

Yeah I have it on while cooking/eating. Marseille seem to be doing pretty well so far...they've come into this game in good form and I hope they can get something from it.

Good goal by Mbappe there. Quick break and Di Maria plays it in to the striker who just about gets it past Mandanda in to the bottom corner.

At full strength I'd have fancied Rennes to get something from this, they're unbeaten at home under Stéphan...but with Bensebaini, Traoré, Da Silva, Grenier and Bourigraud missing OL should be too good for them.

Lyon were disappointing, Rennes fought well despite half of their usual starters being missing and could have won it with a late chance for Hunou, but he put it wide and a minute later Martin Terrier put Lyon in front. Finished 0-1 and OL are now a point behind Lille who go to Nantes on sunday.
