Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Well done by the red, called the captain for each team and I'm sure told then to control their sides.
...Dan Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Just now, Eco said: Surely no red for Mendy... Yellow card for sure, but that's not a red card You can't push someone in the face. Red card all day.
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Just now, ...Dan said: Surely a red for Ferland Mendy... No way, completely dramatic acting from Strasbourg there. I'm shocked there isn't a yellow though
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Just now, ...Dan said: You can't push someone in the face. Red card all day. From the replay in seeing, there is no push, a hand to the face and an over reaction from Strasbourg. I'm guessing VAR confirms
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Good save there from Strasbourg, Dembele should have done better
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Wow - what was Lopes doing there? Pretty well deserved as Strasbourg have not been poor today. Game on. 2-1 lead for Lyon
...Dan Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Clear push. Bizarre decision. And Strasbourg are back in it!
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Now Fekir is coming on...not ideal at all, but this is a massive match for OL
Eco Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Definitely 2 points lost here. Pretty poor from Lyon.
Administrator Stan Posted March 9, 2019 Administrator Posted March 9, 2019 Mendy should be off for that. You can't raise your hands to someone's face. Just the rules.
...Dan Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Very dull first half of Monaco v Bordeaux...but the 2nd half has started well with a Falcao header from a Ballo-Touré cross.
Eco Posted March 14, 2019 Author Posted March 14, 2019 Friday - March 15, 2019 Nice vs Toulouse Lille vs Monaco Saturday - March 16, 2019 Angers SCO vs Amiens SC Caen vs Saint-Etienne Guingamp vs Dijon Nimes vs Strasbourg Sunday - March 17, 2019 Olympique Lyon vs Montpellier Reims vs Nantes Bordeaux vs Rennes PSG vs Olymipque Marsseille
...Dan Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Monaco beat Lille away! Big result for them to show what they are capable of...they've really put that terrible first half of the season behind them.
...Dan Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Lamine Koné has gifted the opposition 3 goals in the last two games. Today's was a ridiculous last minute hand ball to give away a penalty. Strasbourg need to drop him if they want to get back into form. Elsewhere Guingamp climbed from 20th to 18th with a late penalty scored by Ludo Blas.
Administrator Stan Posted March 17, 2019 Administrator Posted March 17, 2019 @...Dan you watching PSG vs Marseille?
...Dan Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Yeah I have it on while cooking/eating. Marseille seem to be doing pretty well so far...they've come into this game in good form and I hope they can get something from it.
Administrator Stan Posted March 17, 2019 Administrator Posted March 17, 2019 Good goal by Mbappe there. Quick break and Di Maria plays it in to the striker who just about gets it past Mandanda in to the bottom corner.
...Dan Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 At full strength I'd have fancied Rennes to get something from this, they're unbeaten at home under Stéphan...but with Bensebaini, Traoré, Da Silva, Grenier and Bourigraud missing OL should be too good for them.

Lyon were disappointing, Rennes fought well despite half of their usual starters being missing and could have won it with a late chance for Hunou, but he put it wide and a minute later Martin Terrier put Lyon in front. Finished 0-1 and OL are now a point behind Lille who go to Nantes on sunday.

...Dan Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Almost a perfect week for Strasbourg. Cup final win, 4-0 win, then almost beat PSG. Good to see them back in form.
