Danny Ward - Leicester Sign Liverpool Keeper for £12.5m

Ward must surely have had some sort of assurance of first team football, but it may be the case of waiting for next season? Chelsea need a keeper though.

I followed Huddersfield a little bit (some of their matches) when they played in the Championship with Ward in the goal. He wasn't that great, but he did have a strong end to the season. In terms of ability he might not be amongst the top keepers, but he was definitely calmer than Migs and Karius. And that is the biggest problem with those two. They have a habit of setting panic (even when they don't commit huge mistakes) in the defence and the team. 

 

It's a shame Ward didn't get a chance at LFC, but he would have definitely done better than those two. Might be one of those things with managers not fancying a player. Have seen that with Rafa, Rodgers, etc. 

 

Anyways, Leicester have got a good player who, if given a chance, will put in 6 or 7 out 10 in most matches.
