Administrator Stan Posted May 21, 2017 Administrator Posted May 21, 2017 Lazio go 1 up through a Keita penalty. A very good penalty, at that.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Andreolli scores for Inter to make ti 1-1! What a beautiful header.
Administrator Stan Posted May 21, 2017 Administrator Posted May 21, 2017 2-1 Inter! Own goal from Lazio.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 GOAL! Lazio score a terrible looking own goal, putting the Nerazzurri up 2-1
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Eder is beyond useless most of the time. Up 2-1 at halftime. I'm the happiest man in the world.
Administrator Stan Posted May 21, 2017 Administrator Posted May 21, 2017 absolutely love this from Lazio. 'The enemies of a lifetime greet Totti'. Showing that football is more than just a rivalry sometimes. And sometimes you have to respect a player that's played the game despite them being from a rivals' side.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Eder missing another easy opportunity... Inter are really picking Lazio apart, and we should easily be up by 3-4 goals.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Wow - that is an awful flop. Jesus that is embarrassing when they show that replay.
Administrator Stan Posted May 21, 2017 Administrator Posted May 21, 2017 Keita dives, gets a 2nd yellow and is now sent off.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Keita gets his second yellow for a dive. No way was that a dive, but the penalty earlier wasn't one, so essentially these refs are having a rough night.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Goal! Eder finally scores on his 34th attempt at an open net today. 3-1 Inter and it looks like our first win in over a month.
Administrator Stan Posted May 21, 2017 Administrator Posted May 21, 2017 nice of Eder to turn up! Another red for Lazio!
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 Wow - Lulic gets his second yellow for an awful tackle. First yellow was for dissent and being a d* bag. Good riddance.
Eco Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 This is the Inter that we needed this year. It means nothing, but damn it feels good to win and deserve the points on the road against a quality team like Lazio. Forza Inter!

Administrator Stan Posted May 28, 2017 Administrator Posted May 28, 2017 I thought all 3 relegation spots were sewn up . Turns out it's between Crotone and Empoli and currently Crotone winning the battle. Beating Lazio 2-1 while Empoli are only drawing. Crotone, as it stands on 34 points; Empoli on 33. Heard the commentators say that Crotone only got 9 points in the first half of the season. No team in the history of Serie A has ever survived after only getting that many points from first 19 games.
...Dan Posted May 28, 2017 Author Posted May 28, 2017 I see it took a 90th minute winner for Roma to clinch 2nd earlier. Napoli almost stole it with a 4-2 away win against Sampdoria.
Administrator Stan Posted May 28, 2017 Administrator Posted May 28, 2017 great entertainment on the final day of the season! Crotone 3-1 Lazio Palermo 2-1 Empoli Torino 5-3 Sassuolo Inter 5-1 Udinese Fiorentina 2-2 Pescara they're all currently still in play Earlier results Roma 3-2 Genoa Sampdoria 2-4 Napoli Anyone who's watched Serie A this season can't be calling it boring!
Eco Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Unreal performance from Crotone. Finished the year above the relegation zone, with 9 wins. To put that in perspective, here are their results over the past 10 games. 6 Wins 2 Draws 2 Loses This may be the greatest comeback in the history of Serie A, if not in Europe. Absolutely unreal.

I'd say Sunderland in 2013/14 was still better but this was a close second for sure.

Bottom at start of April. Won 7 out of or last 9 games. Didn't just survive on the final day. Got survival with a game to spare. Sunderland aren't even in the shadow of our escape. Crotone are. They had a better record than Juve in the 2nd half of the season I believe?

Keep in mind Chelsea was still undefeated at home with Mourinho.
