If Tuesday had gone as expected I'd imagine today would be much worse but with a Champions League final coming up I don't think Liverpool have any excuse for negativity. They are back in the position of being one of the elite clubs in European football again.

Not one of my favorite ECL finals, but I applaud Liverpool for consoling themselves with a significant European championship victory.
