I think I'm going to wait until the finale's out before I start this, so I can binge it properly.

Why did we think of the finale?

Meh. Ill spoiler tag the bit thats relevant.

The shootout was good but I thought how it kind of ended was only ok. Some questions about how the thing cant die to gunshots or knives but to a rock in the head or why it would be scared of falling then? The ending kind of leaving it open but kind of makes no sense with the scratches? It was only ok for me. I thought the previous couple episodes where better.

On another note I did read a little after apparently when they originally signed to do the show with HBO it had a mini series tag as the story starts and ends with the book but before the first episode aired HBO removed that title so speculation is rife about a second season. Apparently the finale ratings (view wise) was through the roof, so who knows.
