  1. Another good episode. Things are shaping up nicely.
  2. You can only hope with this final time jump it actually builds some development. Looking forward to Aemond Targaryan. Thought his transition from small and weak to fierce and bold was the best thing about the most recent episode.
  3. Honestly just music to my ears given how Lampard and Tuchel would forcibly play or rush back in injured players.
  4. Fofana out only 4 weeks with bruised knee. Thank Christ.
  5. Thought this recent episode was the best of the lot. Finally some actual drama that sets up the story's main premise. The pacing of the show is still terrible. Characters are dying and they are trying to portray it as if we should care about them when they've only had like 5 minutes of screen time.
  6. Apart from Monchi that is a pretty uninspiring list. Honestly better off waiting for Edwards next summer.
  7. Absolute legend for this. Lampards unappreciated passing ability on display.
  8. Ramires and Mikel retire from football. Didn’t realise they were still playing.
  9. Heard he was the most ridiculous pirate ever.
  10. Still think England are too limited in CM and defence to really play an open game against the best in the world.
  11. It's becoming tedious now. England's alleged best player and the answer to England's problems, is always the player not playing. Grealish, Bellingham, Maddison, Tomori, TAA, etc, etc. Fans have been begging Southgate to use them, he has, and they too have been poor. The issue issue is far too deep that a limited manager can solve.
  12. Rice isn’t a holder. He’s a box to box and plays as such for West Ham. He also isn’t a player you’d expect to retain and progress the ball against top midfielders given he shines in a pragmatic and compact system that is Moyes ball. Mount excels at the half turn and that is it. Jack of all trades, master of none. Another player that will vanish against top midfields given he hasn’t improved as a player in 3 years. Bellingham is the only one who could hold his own. John Stones is limited defensively and Southgate can’t implement a possession based system to hide his flaws. Tomori has horrid positional awareness and has to make up for it with his pace. Maguire is a fridge and Guehi, who has all the tools, still vastly unproven.
  13. I'm still adamant in saying England doesn't have the defence or midfield to really play a progressive system. Southgate is a limited manager, but when your best technical midfielder is 19 and your best all around CB has yet to really play at the highest level, you can't blame him with always opting for a more compact system.
  14. So De Santis dished out the cock meat sandwiches?
  15. Going to miss Missy Alcock playing Rhaenyra. Fine young actress. Thought she was well written. Not some cliched, Hollywood woman protagonist that can't do any wrong (cough Rey cough) but a level headed young woman entering adulthood where her hormones lead to promiscuous and controversial decisions that goes against the crown, and a duty she is conflicted in even wanting.
  16. Just becoming typical now. Never a boring day.
  17. I've enjoyed it so far but one thing bothered me. Thought Cole murdering the knight of kisses in cold blood without any consequences was ridiculous. In the book he murdered him in the tourney, which makes sense, but at the actual wedding? Come on. Matt Smith is still annoying me as Daemon. Still has yet to win me over.
  18. Thank Christ. No more Boehly scatter gun. Ecstatic to finally have a proper footballing director in the club.
  19. Played Brighton yesterday in a closed door match. Won 2-1. Carney with a brace.
  20. This. I had no doubts Haaland would be a success. My only concern for City would be that they had to essentially change the way they play to suit Haaland, which could prove costly.
