  1. Yeah Colombia, Uruguay, and Argentina are looking strong heading into this tournament.
  2. So it is a reboot, technically? If so I'll definitely give it a watch. Predator has never been rebooted (bar Aliens v Predator which isn't cannon at all). Predators has a direct reference to Dutch, and Prey is a prequel to Predator given the The Yautj in that film is of a very low species as it was the first to hunt on earth. In Predator, Anna talks about the original Yautj that hunted her ancestors.
  3. Is it a franchise reboot?
  4. The 8 clubs that support City's actions are reported to show sympathy towards City given they all showed disagreements with the ATP rules. None of them are mad enough to join City's lawsuit.
  5. Villa have held preliminary talks for Gallagher according to Ornstein.
  6. Really hope its just to show we aren't desperate, much like last summer when Sky reported Poch wanted Kepa as his #1. Petrovic at best is a #2 and Sanchez's signing should bring a sacking to the mastermind behind it.
  7. Smart business. If we could somehow get rid of Disasi and keep Chalobah it would be even better.
  8. Romano ruled Chelsea out, so the question is who is actually buying him? £110m transfer fee, £300kpw wages and likely a very hefty agent fee? Arsenal are looking at Sesko and PSG want Kvaratskhelia to replace Mbappe.
  9. I'd love to see him back in the Premier League.
  10. WOW. That is actually huge news.
  11. Much rather see him at Villa than Newcastle or Spurs. He should ideally follow wherever Poch goes tbf. We are likely going to have a huge squad next season given the introduction of Europe and Club World Cup in the summer. HG quota will be no problem.
  12. More importantly, Joe Shields. A unanimous backing which wasn't the case for Poch. Good to have an Italian manager back at the club.
  13. Thomas Frank, Enzo Maresca, Kieran McKenna along with a 'high-profile mystery name' Sacked in December.
  14. This is all Clearlake. Boehly has been the one who was publicly supportive of Poch. Eghbali and the sporting directors were never convinced. Egghead calls the shots.
  15. Think ownership will finally lose the remaining fanbase next season if we end up doing worse. Poch had a lot of flaws but with how we ended the season there's a high likelihood we could finish Top 4 next season. Especially if we bring in 2-3 experienced heads and solve our injury crises. Not to mention with the new Europa League format (CL clubs not being dumped into it) there's another avenue for CL and a trophy. Just more steps backwards replacing Poch.
  16. Funny thing is he's back at the bridge in 2 weeks coaching the Soccer Aid match.
  17. Can't help but feel the 2 year contract played the biggest part in this. Poch probably wanted more direct control to affect decision making but ownership likely viewed him only as a short term option.
