Premier League 2023/24 Gameweek 24 - 10-12th February, 2024

If we concede early it could be carnage. It wont happen but it would be nice to hear from Steve Parish to offer some form of clarity on any of the issues with the fish rotting at the head to lower some of the toxicity within the fan base. Why have we reached out to the Raine Group? What's going on with the new stand? Why have we gone two transfer windows and not replaced arguably our greatest ever player? What is it that Harris and Blitzer actually do? Has appointing Frank de Boer haunted him that much hes too scared to make a managerial decision? Would he be willing to remove his almighty voting rights to assist with a sale? Even if he addressed just one of these issues it may alleviate some of the anger we're going to see on Monday. On Twitter they're trying to arrange a booing demonstration from the 1st minute ffs. -
He seemed more annoyed in his press conference with fans complaining about the style of football as opposed to the missed transfer opportunities.
-
If he waited another week he could have found himself back at our place .
-
He should resign out of shame if he can't get three points on Monday.

John Textor has done something similar with his Belgium club and Lyon. It's the next loophole they'll close I reckon. -
Well that's us relegated unless Everton and Forest get point deductions. Doucoure out for the season, Olise out until April, waiting for updates on Marc Guehi and Ebere Eze. Oh and the slight problem that nobody wants to manage us. It's mental that after 11 years in this league our squad still looks so so poor and the owners thought we could get away with it.

"Hi Sharon, Steve here, is Neil there? Just need to have a short conversation... What do you mean he's in Scotland?".

Looking forward to seeing Ali Al-Hamadi at Ipswich. AFC Wimbledon fans are really high on him. They believe he's the best prospect in League Two.

The Athletic reported that Marcus Rashford had been out in a Belfast nightclub and then called in sick for training. Plainly doesn't care anymore and doesn't want to play for ETH. Will be interesting to see if INEOS want him off the books as home grown player sales generate good profit for FFP/PSR.

He's done the right thing for once and resigned. I wonder what he does now. He still has the ability to manipulate the stock market and knows where all the skeletons are buried in that company.

For those that don't know and think @Dr. Gonzo is just shouting perverted things at random: https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/s/HOu521ukLE The TLDR version: - Vince McMahon has been accused of sex trafficking by the employee he made sign an NDA last year. - Employee now allowed to talk as Vince didn't meet the financial terms of the NDA. - John Laurinitus and 'Former UFC star' implicated (You don't have to be a detective to make a realistic assumption on who that is). - Vince allegedly defacated on the employee after a threesome. - Vince allegedly names his sex toys after WWE wrestlers. - 'Former UFC star' is in to watching women urinate. - Vince texts like a 12 year old.

So this week POF were talking about the latest story that we've tasked the Raine Group to find funding for the cost of the inflation of the new stand (£45m). Kevin said the original story he had heard was the Raine Group were potentially looking for buyers. He pointed out its a little odd we're raising 45m when Harris and Blitzer are minted. Maguire agreed and questioned why the Raine group would get involved for 45m when they charged United 31m for there services. Maguire indicated it could be a smokescreen and that Palace 'are more up for sale' than other Premier League clubs. They both think its iffy and thinks there's more than meets the eye.

I think he's the one that ticks the most boxes that Steve Parish will look for in a new manager that's realistic. I think his promotion with Luton will put him ahead of Kieran McKenna and Michael Carrick in the preference order, and Luton's performance against us at Kenilworth Road was very reminiscent of what we were like in our first two seasons at this level. Personally I don't think Graham Potter is realistic. He didn't want the job in the summer and nothing we have done since would make him think that we're capable of financially backing him to achieve what he'd want with the better players in our squad.
