  1. Save money on Ten Hag's wages and get fans to write tactics on bed sheets.
  2. It would be a good job for somebody like Frank Lampard. Its rare you get to walk in to a team that doesn't need a rebuild.

Tony Khan's important announcement on TV this week was to mention tickets for All In go on sale next month. He's also just signed Ric Flair to a multi year deal. I feel like a broken record at this point, but if he has any real friends, surely somebody would tell him to take a step back and do some self reflection? This is reminiscent of TNA early 2010. The way Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho attempted to justify his childish Twitter outbursts last month was just embarrassing.
  4. That's a bit of a stretch. They spent over 5m in the summer on Rob Dickie, Ross McCrorie and Jason Knight. Not to mention prized two of Luton's best players previously in Naismith and Cornick. --- I do have a degree of sympathy for Pearson in this circumstance because they have had a pretty bulky injury list and that middle pack is still very tight. I get why he isn't happy about the contract situation, but if I was Lansdown I wouldn't consider a new contract until February at the earliest anyway. I don't think his stock has been affected by this. He's shown he can reduce costs significantly whilst improving several young players in the modern era if given time. If I'm a club in the bottom half of The Championship on the brink of FFP with a real danger of slipping down, I'm considering Nigel Pearson.

Yes watched it last week. I thought Al Snow, Doug Basham, Leila Grey Mahabali Shera and the tall lady came across well. The rest of them not so much. If that guy Hayley was dating ever gets close to joining a big company he's 100% getting cancelled for admitting he assaulted her on Netflix.

I still can't believe UFC didn't pay him what he's worth. A Heavyweight Champion with an incredible back story that has heat with Dana White. There was a lot of money to be made there.

I've been to a couple of ROH showd and found every fan great.
  8. If Manchester United approached Emery I think he'd go. In terms of club size in England there's Manchester United and then there's everybody else. That said I don't think it would be the right decision. Ten Hag has disposed of a lot of problematic characters and now there appears to be a wave of new problems. The players who filled holes last season are becoming issues this season. Then there's the inevitability of all the Emery meme's resurfacing after his first decision.
  9. I imagine it's just the Premier League trying to show Government that they can regulate the league before an independent regulator comes in.
  10. I can only assume if Everton's punishment is 12 points then Man City will be put in to the Welsh League.
  11. RIP. Him refusing to accept a Champions League winners medal in Moscow when Kenyon took the silver sums him up perfectly.
  12. You'd like to think his agent would receive a lengthy punishment at the very least.

NWA have miraculously landed a deal on The CW network which is pretty much in every home in America with an antenna. If they get a good TV deal then things may get interesting for a while. I don't think they'll trouble long term because the booking has dropped off a cliff since Corgin replaced Lagana with himself but it could be funny to see Tony Khan react if he feels threatened by them. I'll probably check out the first couple of episodes as I've always been a fan of EC3.

I had a lot of good will towards AEW after All In, but a lot of that evaporated when last week Tony Khan showed he will never change. As long as he's in charge of creative the company has a ceiling. What hasn't helped him is last week's Smackdown sounds like the best Smackdown since the last WrestleMania. Him and Jericho can whign all they want about how WWE stacked NXT with The Avengers but the reality is if AEW had a show that had consistent booking this wouldn't have been a contest.
  15. I'm a big fan of the new feature that let's you start from July 3rd before transfers were made.
  16. If they were serious about building a sporting legacy theres only one real option for them. North London already has two massive stadiums, East London already has The Olympic Stadium, West London has Stamford Bridge. That just leaves South London. The area that is arguably the hot bed of football talent in England. That already has a Premier League team that's been established for 10+ years with a chairman that's taken the role as the spokesperson for the majority. Oh, and whats that? They also have the best name in English football with owners that are open to selling. Oh, and they're above Manchester United in the table. Tell me where I'm telling lies.
  17. It looks like the Beta version will drop this evening.
  18. Some salary to sit and eat crisps and play the playstation to be fair.
  19. If he's been betting on matches he's involved in then he's fortunate not to have a longer ban than 12 months as far as I'm concerned. I don't like being cynical but the timing of his transfer from AC Milan was far too odd and convenient for them not to have known something.
