  1. I'm more bothered about my club having a gambling sponsor than changing the design every season to be honest. The kits are predominantly meant to be for Children who would get £50+ worth of use out of it over 12 months. Seeing them where a kit with a false sponsor seems counter-intuitive. Thankfully it looks like gambling sponsors will be removed within the next 5+ years anyway.

Based on the ROH matches I've seen Ospreay, White and Sabre would be a grab for anybody but with the impending arrival of Steen & O'Reilly I wouldn't blame them if they wanted to stay away for another year to make a bigger splash when they arrive. Then again Jay White was in Impact Wrestling for a cup of coffee recently and I'm not sure if it was the booking but he didn't really stick his head above the parapet when doing stuff with Chris Bey. Ishii on Dynamite cracked me up but until Okada comes over those Chaos guys aren't going to climb the card.

So after deciding not to watch Survivor Series for the first time in over 20 years I read this morning they based the show around a Golden Egg that somebody has stolen. What is Vince playing at.
  5. @Devil-Dick Willie described the Manchester United recruitment very well after it appeared Ronaldo wasn't the instant messiah people anticipated he would be. Man United sign players they want. Liverpool and Man City sign players they need. Cristiano Ronaldo prevented Pep from getting a penalty box predator that Man City's build up play craves, but from a neutral observers perspective he's effectively limited the impact of so many other influential players around him. Jason Sancho can't run behind him, Bruno's end product numbers have disintegrated and Mason Greenwood hasn't been able to produce the same shot volume before as he struggling to get in the positions for his Van Persie-esque positions to thrive. At Juventus they put up with it because of his consistent returns against mid/low table clubs but he's not even scoring against Ben Foster at the minute.

If you've got the time this evening check out the Jurassic Express Vs Superkliq match that Meltzer gave 5 stars and tell me how many times you said wtf during the match afterwards.

I think they'd do that if they don't get Kevin Steen. I think they could have done more with John Morrison as a singles given how much time they invested in Miz and Morrison. Hit Row probably should have been given more than two matches. Not that I cared much for them other than Shane Strickland. That AJ Francis comes across on Twitter like an absolute pleb.

More WWE releases. Biggest name is John Morrison. Other names include Tegan Nox, Hit Row, Drake Maverick and Jaxson Ryker. I don't know why anybody watches that product anymore. Just looking at the state of the replies to Taya Valkriye's tweets just makes me feel that some of these genuinely suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.

I'm hopeing CM Punk is the next Champion to be honest but I want them to hold off on that until All Out. Have him win a feud against MJF and then have him move on to beating all the potential challengers before beating Hangman as a heel. By the 'John Cena Role' I meant they took elements of the Punk Cena feud in 2011 and used it for this feud. Punk replaced the five knuckle shuffle with a finger and referenced the five moves of doom during the match. A lot of what Eddie Kingston said in the build up and Punks responses were similar to what Punk and Cena did too. He needs to move away from that now, MJF could easily get under his skin and the fans will be back behind Punk.

    - CM Punk was playing 'The John Cena 2011 Role'. There was plenty of John Cena references in his match with Kingston. It's a long term story with him so it's worth being patient. - Tony Khan has previously mentioned he always knew who his first four Champions would be. - I don't know what's going on with Cody now which is part of the fun.

Think CM Punk getting booed was on the cards when they ran the promo where he came across very condescending and patronising to Kingston. Fans like Bryan Danielson but I think they were ready for Miro to win. The result kind of took a lot of energy out the crowd. I don't mind Bryan facing Page as the crowd should be split down the middle but they've done Miro a disservice having him lose to Sammy and Bryan. MJF needed that win after Chris Jericho sandbagged him at All Out so I'm glad he's on track. Hopefully he's next for CM Punk. The Young Bucks stuff seemed pretty unnecessary to me but I imagine them, Adam Cole and Kevin Owens will reform Mount Rushmore at the expense of Kenny Omega in January.

Yeah. It was good. Every match had its pro and cons. Surprised about some of the results but the performers made the most of what they had. Happy to see who they signed as the 'Special Guest'. Hopefully we will see Bryan/Page, Punk/MJF and Omega/Super Elite as the big feuds going in to Revolution.
  16. Eze is playing 60 minutes for the reserves now so hopefully we will see him before the half way point of the season. It's going to be interesting to see where Patrick Vieira plays him. The initial theory was Gallagher would tuck back deeper so Eze could play as a 10 but Gallaghers press has been so effective I think he's become essential to the way we play.

Yeah. It's a shame at 45 he still feels the need to do moves like that because he's a good wrestler that doesn't need too. Plus if he was scheduled to lose anyway they should have just called off the match after he seriously hurt himself.
  18. I guess it's a "damned if you do, damned if you dont" scenario. They'd get heavily criticised if they withheld that sort of information.

Allegedly some of these releases are down to people refusing to get the vaccination which is fair enough. If you can't travel then you're effectively worthless. To release the others two hours after Khan's boast about 'better than expected' profits and Stephanie joking about 'bad news' is just synonymous with how tacky they are as a company. Its got to a point now where if you still watch you're contributing to the problem. Taya Valkriye, Ember Moon and Mia Yim would be good pick ups for anybody providing they're not I the antivax crew. Keith Lee and Kross/Scarlett too. Albeit Keith Lee mentioned he was seriously ill from Covid and Kross/Scarlett left Impact on the back of sexual harassment allegations against Don Callis which restricts there working opportunities considerably.
  20. Trevoh Chalobah looked absolutely lost at times during his loan spells at Ipswich and Huddersfield. I get that he went to France and got good reviews but the transformation is still staggering. I know we all should have learned our lesson after Antonio Conte turned Victor Moses in to a world beater for a short period of time but its a fantastic example of what a World Class Manager can do with a raw talent in the right system.

Jon Moxleys checked in to rehab for alcohol related issues. That would explain the change in appearance over the last year. Hope he gets well soon for his and his familys sake.
  22. Tottenham Hostpur Football Club. Thank you so much for taking a bullet this weekend and allowing us to see Ole manager Manchester United for a little longer.
