  1. Have a lot of these Hockey players gotten COVID before, or is this the first team with a significant one?

NBA has had all their outbreaks and not many games are postponed now as opposed to back in January/February.

  2. I'm very close to caving and going to the Dominican Republic in June/July. They have not been hit too hard by COVID in comparison to other countries, and it's due time I visit.

Norway at the moment is closed, so no point in planning to go there yet.

how many women have you been with in your life. i only ask because a young lad like yourself should not be that shy.

3 (for both categories). I just have too many bad experiences.

    Wait wat.

Let me put it this way - I am shy and hate taking risks. As a result: single since 2016, shag-less since 2018.

In a way I like being single. I have complete freedom. But I do want to settle down with someone sooner or later.

    how old are you buddy.

I’m 23, and I’m looking to go to University but that feels like my last chance before having to use dating sites. Which sucks.

@Cicero bit weird isnt it. Also I had told her on a few occasions that I thought she was nice and I wanted to meet her. Personally i think you should just lie about something like that or just not reply. Especially at the moment because people are very stressed and that could really hurt someone if their mental health is bad

I'm the opposite, I'd rather hear the truth than have them lie to me and not explain why I've been blocked. It does hurt to hear the truth, but it helps me realize that

    1. That person was shallow and not worth it

    2. If it's something that can be improved upon, it helps me think more conciously.

Not replying is a good sign though that they don't care, so I agree with that.

Dont get me wrong by our numbers "surging" I mean weve crested the 1000 cases mark for 3 straight days... still nothing compared to you guys and Quebec, previously I want to say we never crested 7-800. Whistler has had alot of out of province travel as one of the problems, reportedly Ontario and Quebec residents have been traveling there, but its also the problem of the industry up there being made up of foreign travelers... their there to party and mingle.

If you had bigger cities and not had the whole province basically be rural outside of Vancouver, you would be as bad as us and Quebec.

Here in Ontario the only reason cases are surging is because the idiot that is Doug Ford opened up everything 2 weeks too early. That pretty much initiated the third wave.

So we'll see how this affects the truncated season here but Vancouver has been shut down likely for a couple weeks. Its now crested 16 players on the covid protocal list + staff, putting the total number above 20. The Brazil variant is among the positive tests as well. Vancouver the city itself has been struggling recently with numbers surging which was pretty much inevitable but Whistler has been seemingly the hotspot and eventually making its way down the valley and into downtown.

I thought it was just Ontario with the third wave. Awful stuff.

I'm still blaming Doug Ford though.

  9. Just found this photo. A tear got away I think. The nostalgia hurts.

Boca was my first love in the sport. If only I didn't develop a new love towards Peruvian sides, I would make them #1.

  10. I agree.

For those genuinely concerned, I will take your advice to get help.

I'll take a short break off here. Won't be long though. Just need to breath after the tough day that was yesterday, and this proving to be no getaway.

    Thanks.

@Mpache its nothing to do with popularity. You are literally saying everyone on this forum is wrong you are right and that Tommy was mocking your mental health. I dont normally disagree with the whole forum. And when I do(on referees for example) I get heavily criticised for it. That's what happens when  you think something that no one agrees with.

I think you're underestimating my long history on here. I got banned on the original TFF and spent the first 3 years just arguing with Teso, so people got annoyed and after he left at the start I had smug behaviour which had nothing to do with my mental health. I tried to change that but people didn't see it (not immediately anyways) so it's become popular to pick on me, which I try to take it lightly (although sometimes I don't). However, my mental health has been poked at more than once by Tommy. He could have been doing it as a harmless joke, but some people don't see it as that, and it came across as very hurtful to just make fun of me in that situation. It had been a very eye opening and hurtful day which took a huge dip in my morale by that point.

It's just my opinion, but probably best to leave the name dropping of @Tommy now too. He's a great guy and I think that point has been made that you didn't appreciate his post (rightly or wrongly). The continuous posting about what he did or didn't mean isn't helpful for anyone IMO and to be honest I think isn't warranted against a guy who in my experience is a really nice bloke. It might sound a bit off topic but have you spoken with your parents/family about your struggles Brian? Perhaps talking closer to home would help.

Yup, yesterday with my mother. I wasn't able to get my whole point across but she saw how much I was suffering.

  13. Just now, Gunnersauraus said:

@Mpache he was mocking your me me me attitude. Which you do come across that way.  I've talked about my mental health on here no one has mocked mine.

    Because everyone loves you mate.

I've had a lot of fiascos on here. So people don't like me as much. I don't want to think I have enemies on here, but some people still take it too far, in a place with no generous regulation.

  14. Anyways, I will get help.

Don't worry about me. I appreciate the care shown at the end of this, and I will get the help right now, and will take a break off here.

All I ask is more regulation on mocking mental health. Teso has done it before and got away many times (until his first suspension).

For me, it's as bad as racism.

I'll leave it there, but I need you all to seriously understand my situation. I'll disconnect and get some help. Those people who agreed with me on this conversation suggested that too. So I will.

  15. 1 minute ago, Gunnersauraus said:

@Mpache I think you are missing the point. Other people are  not saying it is ok to mock mental health. They are saying they dont believe Tommy was mocking it. I've seen the eye rolling post. It was a little insensitive maybe but Tommy was mocking your attitude not your mental health.

How was that mocking my attitude?

    Quote

That was my reaction because I knew it would eventually turn into another one of your "me me me me me me" topics.

He literally said this, which is a clear lack of understanding of my situation and the symptoms of mental health and depression.

Trust us, none of us want you to kill yourself or feel like you want to kill yourself. But we’re also not equipped at all to help anyone through serious mental health issues like that at all.

You need to see a professional pal

Yes, I agree. I need more professional help and WILL get it. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.

The point I was making is that you lot are defending someone who is mocking my mental health, which was at a low point and then felt offended because I compared myself to Claude, which is a fair comparison given the state I am in. I can't talk to new people anymore, I am scared to talk to friends, I don't care about my future or getting COVID.

Tommy is just proof that people do a lot to aggravate the issue and don't help. I appreciate you aren't mental health experts, but all I was asking for is friendly advice. Which is what I was getting until Tommy's post.

  17. Just now, The Palace Fan said:

Mate, you need to talk to a professional. This place is a football forum and you perceive it as a poisonous environment. My advice would be to take a break or find a different environment to talk about South American football.

And people wanted to help, which I was going to reply to no?

Cicero/Machado wanted to help, and I was going to talk to them. Tommy mocked my mental health. Which is beyond a joke, what's worse is you and the others went onto defend it.

My mental health was mocked in that award thread too, which was even pointed out by some people in my absence. Yet the people here refused to listen.

  18. 1 minute ago, Gunnersauraus said:

@Mpache brian if you are feeling suicidal you need some serious help mate.

    I'm not, but that's only because I'm a chicken.

The point was I am at a serious low point and am a broken human. I am seeing people but I need to do it more regularly. If mental health awareness was so good, they wouldn't have mocked my mental health then go on to defend it for FUCKS SAKE!

  19. Just now, Gunnersauraus said:

@Mpacheyou literally said in this thread that you acted like a dick because of your mental health that is blaming it. Everyone on the forum even the ones who like you are saying you are largely misinterpreting things. Clearly you are a massive part of the problem

I said that I'm being a dick because my mental health is being poked at. That's not OK in no scenario.

Try to sugarcoat it all you want. I showed the convo to a few friends and they agree with me.
