China to host Asian Cup 2023, would be much better host than 2004 after hosting the Olympics they are very good at these things and China has a very good record in attendance as a host

This is the mess the US has created in Afghanistan and Trump wants to get out but just like Vietnam it hurts their pride to accept it so they need to create another drama to end this one

@nudge beat you to it
But i gave the current background
Afghanistan is US current Vietnam, They want to get out but they want it to look like a mutual peace agreement but the Afghan Taliban are not agreeing saying either US accepts it surrender or we will kick them out so that's why US needs a major conflict in the region to distract attention whether its in Middle East or South Asia

Also if this is how the World Cup is going to be mostly than it's going to be pretty boring and the rain of course
The World Cup as a spectacle and ODI Cricket as an entity needs a good memorable tournament, otherwise these T20 leagues around the World will soon surpass international cricket and we'll see the Club-Country debate in cricket as well.

Fell 30 runs short and our fielding didn't helped either.
But still this English batting is ridiculous almost all of their batsmen can hit big sixes and who can't like Root find fours for fun.
Junaid Khan was good which is a good sign as Amir won't likely make the WC and we need a leader in our pace attack
I love Hassan Ali he is an elite bowler despite his limitations, passionate you can see he puts in effort is confident, presents himself like a superstar while being a team player

A little insight about this Gulf conflict
You people might know that America is about to leave Afghanistan after 17 years of war and had achieved nothing, but they don't want to look like as the losers and face the humiliation just like Vietnam so they want to start a new conflict in the region which intensifies and the whole world shifts its attention there while America sneaks out silently.
The recent Pakistan-India clashes were also an attempt of this plan, but thankfully we diffused the situation so now they shifted to the Middle East.

This World Cup would be all about who has the best bowling attack, this is where i think India is ahead of England apart from Archer their bowling attack is well below par despite their sensational batting.
That's why I'm not rating the Windies too much despite you guys thinking they are the dark horses. That for me is South Africa

Much prefer him to Nasser Hussain.
Bumble is my favourite though
. Met him once and he's a great laugh.
I notice you've not mentioned the game right now though
. Bairstow carrying his IPL form in to today's game. Roy is a superb one-day opener as well. Pakistan need 1 or 2 wickets right now within next few overs to make England sweat a bit. That drop from Shaheen (?) was absolutely woeful.
Nah was pretty much expected England have chased down 350+ target more than any team i guess.

The US is going to use this as pretext for the war with Iran they've been ramping up for over the last few months.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-48264499
"No evidence has emerged to show that Iran was involved. The affected countries are yet to assign blame." But at the insistence of Mr. Bone Saw of Saudi Arabia they'll pin the blame on Iran, and like the "WMD" bullshit of Iraq they'll topple another country and create a whole new host of problems for generations to deal with in the Middle East.
Iran would be insane to provoke a war upon itself through these silly attacks.
I suspect Israel provoking a war & framing Iran for it.

Lovely ton from Imam-ul-Haq. Only in 97 balls as well.
Made today's innings look very easy and quite an accomplished century.
Yeah his job is to anchor the innings and he has been doing it from time to time but as you said he did this time far quicker than usual
Haris Sohail was looking good too but got run out patheticly, showed no effort

Tensions rising again, two of Saudi oil tankers attacked in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran denied any involvement

Anyone else ever feel overwhelmed by people in general?
Im going through that phase at the moment where I really want peace. I'm tired of socializing, I'm tired of being ignored, I'm sick of trying to the point where I don't even want to talk to my own family. I want to just isolate myself. Luckily this hasn't stopped my creative ambitions, but I'm just tired of the people I know. I wouldn't call this "depression". Rather I feel socially awkward.
It's funny. In elementary school I just wanted to have friends as I didn't have many. Now I don't want friends because it's beginning to overwhelm me. I feel they are a poison to me. I hate my condition sometimes.
I'm going through the same phase

Pompeo and Bolton have wanted to go to war with Iran in decades and the US is escalating
I meant that a lot Iranians abroad seem to be okay with US bombing Iran which is bizarre imo, i get it you don't like the regime in Iran. But how can you want to support people who will harm and destroy your people and country even if you live outside of Iran.
