I was out doing a bit of shopping this morning and people are just being silly.... Someone only needs to post something like "Turmeric helps keep you virus free" on twitter and that will be out of stock within half a day... people will believe anything.. I was reading a story the other day where some bloke in America went out and purchased 17,000 bottles of hand sanitizer which he was hoping to cash in on by selling them for $8 a bottle on Amazon once this all kicked off and within a week Amazon froze his account for inflating his prices and now he is stuck with them... Part of me wanted to praise him for trying to cash in and the other half of me was laughing because that will teach him a lesson for being greedy and trying to cash in on peoples fears..

What if they get it up and running in a months time again, with no training in groups going on everyone will be as rusty as fuck...

I was reading this morning that the Government are looking at giving police powers to detain anyone they suspect of having the virus.. not sure how that's going to work in reality though, One has to a assume that it means having the ability to detain someone in quarantine once they have been confirmed as having the virus?? No doubt the way our Police work they will see it as an opportunity to jump out on random members of the public who cough on their way to work and taser them before leading them off in handcuffs...

They are trying to encourage people at our place to work from home where possible, The offer is only open to people in the offices though obviously because they get preferential treatment as always..

Alright for some, I still have to trudge in to work everyday.... Sometimes being a hero is not all it's cracked up to be.... sometimes I just want to be the wimpy hypochondriac who phones in sick because I had to blow my nose twice in the same day.... See this is how panic starts... We are low on milk and now I am worried there won't be any over the shop this morning when I go and if there is I am buying at least 40 pints to be safe... If I find any Bourbon biscuits I will get them and sell them to you for £5.50 a pack mate then I can get my medal for pretending to be community minded...

What's frustrating about all this panic buying is you are forced to pick up a little extra yourself just to make sure you have the bare essentials in the house while someone else sits on 20 packs of toilet rolls they will never need... Shame on the Retailers as well for cashing in and not controlling it, Only when the Government start taking measures do they then try and come across as being responsible...

I said probably, but doubt very much they are panic buying chocolate Bounty bars....
