Do you ever get one of them moments where you instantly regret opening your mouth??? I am not long in from work and not even got my jacket off and was making a cuppa and casually said to the missus, "How was your day??" I then get a 20 minute ear bashing that covered everything from Spiders in the seating area outside to my daughter and boyfriend troubles... seriously wanted to put my cup down and go back to work.. Also didn't ask how my day was because she clearly doesn't give a toss..
  2. Stick with it mate it's quality
  3. Didn't read any of that and yea, would be a bit silly to look at offloading him, sure he needs to improve but with all our defensive errors it would be unfair to lay the blame just at his door, having said that he is just as guilty of making the some costly howlers as those in front of him so having another keeper to keep him focused wouldn't do him any harm... To be fair it has been, and always was going to be a bit of a mixed bag season going with the youngsters and the transfer ban etc...
  4. Yea he did... I understand that we were also in the market for another keeper to give him some competition for his place
  5. Indeed… looks very interesting... I would comment on the trailer you posted but I know in about 8 months time you will be making me feel bad for something I didn't do wrong... not falling for that twice
  6. Looking forward to this coming up on 7th Feb on Netflix
  7. With this lack of activity and knowing we need to strengthen I can't help but wonder if they have one eye on another manager coming in over the summer potentially?? Why invest in new players that Lampard might prefer if they might not suit the next incoming manager? It's clear he is not happy with the lack of transfer activity and we are left to wonder just how hard we tried to bring in players even if they were on loan?? Makes no sense that we would not try and improve the squad to keep pushing to keep that top 4 position
  8. So you got me to apologise for nothing... that's just evil...
  9. Well glad to see we have finally got at least one of our many targets over the line in this transfer window
  10. Should have known better.... my apologies for missing it the first time round

  13. Nothing, It's there but where it says 'Play' is greyed out. The 3 games below are showing as Play in green??
  14. Well that's a bit odd, started off with Anno 1404, saved my progress and have tried to go back in and it won't allow me to play it for some reason?? all the other games are ready to play except the one I already started??

  19. Employers should ‘crack down on laddish sports banter because it excludes women’ Sports banter at work can alienate women and football chat in particular risks becoming a gateway to ‘laddish behaviour’, the head of a major business organisation claimed today. Ann Francke, chief executive of Britain’s Chartered Management Institute (CMI) told BBC radio: ‘It’s very easy for it to escalate from VAR talk and chat to slapping each other on the back and talking about their conquests at the weekend.’ Francke said she was not calling for a ban on sports banter in the office or shop floor but felt there needed to be greater awareness and sensitivity towards female staff who might be excluded. She said managers had to do more to be inclusive and ensure everyone in the team felt comfortable. Ms Francke added: ‘A lot of women, in particular, feel left out. ‘They don’t follow those sports and they don’t like either being forced to talk about them or not being included.’ However, her comments have received a strong backlash. https://metro.co.uk/2020/01/27/employers-crack-laddish-sports-banter-excludes-women-12133418/
