  1. I was going to watch and review the film 'Anna & the Apocalypse' as part of a new B Movie rubbish review idea I was having but even though it has it down as a Comedy,Horror,Fantasy they started singing about 10 minutes in so I fucked that off sharpish... Stay tuned for further B Movie Rubbish reviews coming soon..
  2. Might be too frightened to watch it alone from here on in though...
  3. Well, no matter who you are If you're a peasant or a star There's a need for love in every man And he found it pretty soon Underneath the Southern moon When she finally made him understand That every man's got his pride And he'll try to run and hide From emotions that his heart has felt From 'My Cousin VInny'

You know when you say the wrong thing at just the wrong time.... The missus has woken up this morning with her eye watering and something is stuck just under her top eyelid that's causing the problem, we can't see what it is and she can't keep her eye open long enough without hurting her to see what it might be so she went back downstairs.. Just after she left I got flagged for summer deals on Screwfix and they are selling a Jetwash on a deal so I will probably pick one up later today, anyway I went back downstairs and she is bent over water pouring from her eye and I happen to mention the Jetwasher... she looked up at me with that look she gives me and said "bit extreme wouldn't you say, I am sure it will come out by itself in a while.." couldn't stop laughing at her
  5. Watched the first episode of this last night, does have a lot of the paranormal stuff going on in the first one, nothing creepy but it's there..
  6. Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to hand Chelsea another boost by putting pen-to-paper on a stunning new £52m contract. Chelsea have been in advanced talks for over a month with their exciting teenage winger over a new five-year deal worth up to £200,000-per-week. A few small details have held up the two parties reaching a total agreement. Hudson-Odoi's contract will be worth a basic of £180,000-a-week rising to £200,000-per-week with bonuses. A breakthrough has come as Hudson-Odoi has stepped up his recovery from the Achilles injury that ended his breakthrough campaign last season. He returned to full training this week after surgery in Barcelona last season and has been earmarked for a return to action after the international break in the first two weeks of September.

Well I don't know the bloke he is my mates mate but it hit him pretty hard, can't imagine how you would handle getting news like that to be honest.. Think I would rather not know, if the dog had not bitten him he never would have known...

Had my mate down from Notts yesterday for a stopover before going on to Coventry to say goodbye to one of his old workmates... turns out his mate got bitten by a dog a couple of weeks ago and after giving him his tetanus they took some blood samples to check everything was ok and that was on a Friday, by Monday they called him back in to tell him the results had shown up a problem and he has been given just 2 weeks left to live... unreal.. he says he feels fine and is still laughing and joking like he normally would, told my mate to hurry up because his time is nearly up and all that... only in his 40's as well.. How devastating is that..

There was some hair pulling going on here as well last night funny enough when Mia slid up behind Leelah and grabbed her hair and pulled it right back.. Leelah was not impressed I can tell you.. They were fighting over the iPad the other night as well on the sofa which was just as funny.. Mia kept reaching over and tapping the screen while Leelah was trying to watch something..

Now that Mia's legs have got a bit longer she has worked out how to shuffle herself across the room in her little relaxing chair, she leans right forward on the edge of it and scoots along until she reaches what she wants to get... funny stuff to watch

  17. Watched the first one this morning and have to say it was very entertaining, I do enjoy the Tomb Raider/ Indiana Jones style films and at least these two had some good chemistry going, I have seen some similar attempts being tried before but it failed because the chemistry came across as forced and not natural but got a good vibe from these two.. Good supporting characters as well.. I did enjoy the Vatican scenes.. I was amused me when he told her that when she offered to take the only chute on the plane that she made it sound like a noble thing.. and his friend there saying they had an Exorcist on site that owed him a favour if he needed him...
  18. I did notice the YouTube quality was reflective of that time..
  19. I will now... I thought it was a film but it's a series, I found it on YouTube
  20. Hard not to like anything Stephen King does but confess to not having seen the Storm of the Century.. Needful Things was very good and The Langoliers was the first film that sprung to mind when I saw that Manifest preview funny enough..
  21. Yea, shame that... I do like a decent horror myself but they are few and far between as you can predict pretty much where all the scares are coming from in most films that are knocking about.. I like the proper creepy stuff as opposed to the gory horror type films.. I can see that we might have a few challenges ahead on movie night..
  22. The first one had a historical element to it as well which made it a pleasure to watch, not sure if this is based on anything from myth or something along those lines but seeing it in this short preview format seems a bit like 'The Ring' some back from the dead haunting entity type series... Will still give it a watch to see how it feels and hope they can carry over some of the suspense and atmosphere from the fist one..
