Hard not to like anything Stephen King does but confess to not having seen the Storm of the Century.. Needful Things was very good and The Langoliers was the first film that sprung to mind when I saw that Manifest preview funny enough..

Yea, shame that... I do like a decent horror myself but they are few and far between as you can predict pretty much where all the scares are coming from in most films that are knocking about.. I like the proper creepy stuff as opposed to the gory horror type films.. I can see that we might have a few challenges ahead on movie night..

The first one had a historical element to it as well which made it a pleasure to watch, not sure if this is based on anything from myth or something along those lines but seeing it in this short preview format seems a bit like 'The Ring' some back from the dead haunting entity type series... Will still give it a watch to see how it feels and hope they can carry over some of the suspense and atmosphere from the fist one..

Enjoying this.. I like the idea of him being able to disguise himself with the faces of a thousand monks.. the perfect assassin unless you go round telling everyone you save that you are a cook then it wouldn't take Sherlock Holmes to narrow down the list of potential suspects would it..

Know what you mean, when I did that yesterday it was chucking out and even when I clamped my hand across it so much blood was coming out I was holding it over the drain and it was pouring in... the missus got a bit panicky and it's then you start to wonder if you have done something far more serious to yourself... I spent 10 full minutes on the phone with them asking me questions like have I lost any fingers, have I turned pale, is my chest cold or warm etc.. only then to be told they could not get an ambulance to me for 2 hours and could I get the hospital.. lucky my neighbour was in and she took me up there.. I was out with a couple of mates last year and we were talking about some of the people we had not seen for a bit and an old friends name came up an one of my mates told me that he heard he had chocked to death from exactly what you are talking about.. being sick after drinking and I was shocked.. He couldn't confirm if it was true only what he had been told.. I have lost touch with where he is living now as well so can't visit to see if he is ok or not... hope it was just an untrue rumour.. Sounds like you were dead lucky there mate, another time you could have bled out..

Battle wounds.... I am going to tell my grand kids I got mine fighting Tigers in Burma or something equally outrageous..

There was a time I used to just spit on it and wipe the blood away and carry on but it was pissing so much blood I thought I had severed an artery or something... They told me I would have to have 4 injections before having the stitches in but I just told them to crack on without it... Almost regretted it though, the nurse was pretty ruthless but efficient.. They said I had to keep my arm above heart level but I told them according to my kids I don't have one so that didn't matter... Tough as old boots me mate..

Yea, was up the hospital yesterday and they stitched it up and have covered it over, stitches need to come out in 7 days if all is well with it, It's torn through some of the muscle on the wrist which is why it's causing me a problem.. lucky for me it missed anything major she said, it went quite deep and across though so probably what's causing the pain, even when I click the mouse button it's causing me some discomfort.... The missus said I am not allowed out in the garden with tools unsupervised anymore..

This cut is proving to be more problematic than I first thought.. can't put any pressure on my hand at all.. couldn't even butter my toast a minute ago, my Chelsea had to do it for me.. more painful than I would have thought as well for what it seems...

Not all of them or there will be over 100 notifications a day for me..

They feel about the same, less blood with man flu though... I got a good boy sticker from the nurse but they don't do lollipops anymore due to the cutbacks which was disappointing... got lucky the way it sliced rather than going deeper if there is such a thing as a good slice when stabbing yourself..

Just got back from the hospital.... was clearing some of the garden weeds this morning round the side of the house and bent down to pull some out of the floor and something stung me and as I pulled my arm back straight on to the open Secateurs and sliced my arm open just above the wrist, the blood starting pissing out and had to hold it over the drain until the missus got a tea towel round it... Had to go and have stitches in, just missed some vital arteries.. the pain is unreal What a pleb...

No one is talentless... Everyone is good at something.. just don't let what talent you do have go to waste... don't get bogged down in the negatives and just focus on the positives... getting rid of Facebook and Whatsapp is a good way of ridding yourself of the negatives a far as I am concerned so there is hope for you yet..
