  1. I think although it does have that 'coolness' factor if never experienced before I would have a lot of concern about having quakes in an area not well known for having quakes..
  2. Probably just as well given your blase attitude toward Armageddon..
  3. What about the pets though??? bet they didn't find it cool..
  4. Climate change... it will be the undoing of us all in the end.. Nature fighting back They had giant hailstones coming down in the Sydney storms.. it's 2012 only a bit later than predicted.. we are getting battered by high winds this week as well as it goes..
  5. We don't really get things like that here... a few chairs get blown over and the recycle bins get pushed down the street in high winds but that's about it.. maybe the odd tree, fence or scaffolding when it's really bad
  6. Yea of course.... "Tornado you say, let me just grab the camera from the car... "
  7. I have found it very enjoyable..
  8. Some people take their computer games waayyyyyyyy too seriously..

If this is Germany's idea of technology that the rest of Europe need to be catching up with you can shove it up your bum... https://metro.co.uk/2019/03/07/bmws-pedestrian-detection-system-works-really-really-badly-8835917/
  11. I was thinking of doing just that... after watching 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' the other night I checked out the review for it and 'What we do in the shadows' got a mention so stuck it on my list of films to watch..
  12. I enjoyed a few of the first series and was quite amusing but as the season wore on it was not as funny... started watching last nights but got interrupted by a troublesome midget so had to abandon it..
  13. Recently stumbled upon this series with Norman Reedus.. probably better known for his role in The Walking Dead.. If you have any interest in bikes you will probably love this.. https://www3.1movies.is/series/ride-with-norman-reedus-season-1/28543/70843/sKUnOA3o-watch-online-free.html
  14. Yea.. just showing what some do.. these are probably the two I like most.. a lot of work went into them I would have thought..
  15. Of course but that was not what I was reviewing... If I had it may have gone something like this.... Great sites to visit when in New Zealand are the ruins of Helms Deep and Minas Tirith, if you manage to get right to the top some of the views and scenery are outstanding... stay away from Osgiliath though as I found it to be overrun with unemployed Orcs who would happily cut your finger off for your ring... Also worth searching out are the Riders of Rohan who will happily give you a horseback guide into the wilds of the country...
  16. 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' ( available on YouTube for free ) You know when you get one of those hidden gems of a film that normally goes under the radar that you have never heard of before well this was one of them.. Just had the tv on Film 4 while I was sorting a few things out last night and it caught my attention so much I stopped what I was doing and started watching it.. Basically it's about a young boy who is a bit of a misfit with no parents being moved from foster home to foster home and gets his last chance with a coupe of who live on the wilderness farm of New Zealand out of harms way.. an unexpected turn of events lead to them going on the run into the wilds of New Zealand while a nationwide manhunt led by child services welfare officer Paula ( Rachel House ) takes place to track them down.. A kind of a Comedy Drama starring Sam Niell as Hec and Julian Dennison as Ricky Baker with some genuine laughs throughout... really enjoyed it and would recommend, some of the New Zealand scenery is amazing... 10/10
