  1. A bit surprised he has chosen not to see it through till the end of the season with Celtic... finish on a high and then move on
  2. I think we knew something like this would happen.... rush in with a statement from both manager and player with a quick cover story hoping all the drama will fade away .. If they fined him then there was no mis- understanding was there.. Trouble for Sarri is if he had wanted to drop him or stick him in the reserves for a bit I doubt that would sit well with those that forked out the best part of 70mill for him... Sarri is just on to a loser all round..
  3. There is a difference between someone being a fighter and someone who just thinks he can do what he likes and is simply defiant.. I understand that he would have wanted to stay on, most people would have but if your numbers up then you should be coming off.. If you are not going to respect the managers decision then what is that telling us?? There can be no excuses for it, none at all. When both Sarri and then Zola gestured for him to come off he was like a kid who didn't want to come from playtime.. just flatly refused to come off.. There could have been no confusion as far as I am concerned, the club have done a rush job to try and dumb down the utter embarrassment of the whole situation... They would have known after the first time when he went down if he was going to be fit enough to carry on and they left him on and took a chance but when he went down again Sarri was not going to risk it.. Sarri was so angry about the situation it was probably all he could do to not walk on the pitch and drag him off by the collar... that does not come from a simple misunderstanding.. There is too much player power in general in football but especially at Chelsea, players who quite frankly deem themselves better than they actually are and performances that are more likened to mid table standards... yesterday was one of those rare one off performances we all know they are capable of but they are too few and far between for the money being thrown in their direction and I do lay the blame at the upper management, when ever it goes tits up in a season the manager is always the one to suffer... We need a clear out and that includes Hazard and managers need to be backed for the long haul not the short term.. Just a bunch of individuals trying to play as a team rather than a team blessed with great individuals...

5 days off and the weather is looking good to mild... might get out in the garden and get an early start and make a push for member of the month May/June/July or try and retain my Post of the Year status with 'Garden Project 2' '"Return to Eden"

Apparently it comes from the Vegas gambling casinos.. A chicken dinner there used to cost $2 so when a player won the saying was "winner winner chicken dinner"

Do you know where that saying came from??? We were doing a quiz at work today and found out..
  7. I thought it might have been for the role but after googling him I can see otherwise... since he got passed over for the new mummy film in favour of everybody's favorite actor Tom Cruise I suppose he probably didn't feel the need to keep the fitness regime up...
  8. Caught the first episode of this last night... weird but interesting.. Brendan Fraser sure has chucked a few on since the Mummy...

  11. Probably wanted to know if they had any googly eyed fish on display....
  12. I see them occasionally flying over but not seen one in the garden since we first built the pond... I swear it got one of my Koi when we first transferred them over... I netted the whole pond after that.. not had any trouble since, the vine grows over the top and bamboo grows along the side so it's well protected now..

That's never going to happen.... no old peoples home built so far that could keep me from wandering off by myself and getting lost... I did have to take a bit of time out to get some personal stuff sorted but when I tried to log back on to the old forum it was no longer there... then just by chance I had logged into one of my old e-mail accounts to double check something else and saw this e-mail from young @Batard who gave me the link to here..

We all deserve a break but his absence is bordering on retirement now... tell him I said to get his arse back on here because I need to know what clothing ranges to look out for in the the Spring... also I am finding the posts on here waaaaayyyyyyyy too short these days... also I need to give him my Shark Hoover review that the missus made me buy... Something I only agreed too because it had the word 'Shark' on it...

The only time you would catch me in a church is if I was A going to someones funeral , or B I had no choice because it was my own... I am not a religious person by any stretch so would never seek their help no matter how bizarre the situation seemed... maybe if stuff was flying around the house I might seek some guidance perhaps but it would need to be proper full on... I have been told by a few close friends of things that have really frightened them along the lines of what you have mentioned and they are sensible sane people not prone to bullshit so it does make you wonder sometimes what it is they saw.. You can go off people you know... Seen it... I do love a good horror... not too many of them about these days..

That's all I need right now... another female in the house... and one who might like me?? that won't cause much friction with the wife now will it..

Well Leelah has been freaking everyone out by saying there is a lady in red wandering around the house that no-one else can see.... my 2 girls are getting proper spooked by it and then reminded me that about a month or so ago I was coming down the stairs to make a drink at about 3 or 4am and clearly heard the words "hello" just as I was starting to walk down the stairs... I stopped at the time wondering who that was that was still awake and backtracked and checked the rooms but everyone was sound asleep... It was a girls/womans voice for sure but I shrugged it off thinking it was very late/early and probably just my imagination.. taking recent accounts into consideration now though I am beginning to wonder.. spooky stuff
  20. After today's awful result this at least cheered me up...
  21. One of his jobs was a tanner... probably where he acquired some of those ideas... couldn't hold down a job so clearly went down the self employed route
