How the fucking hell was that 450/1? I'd have had that nearer 80/1.

Correct. My stance is quite simple that I'm not sorting her out again, and I'll only do it occasionally for others too. One of my mates used to take the piss but he's got his act together somewhat now.

I don't know how people can go through their life like that to be honest. He's literally living off your money. I'm quite cynical about situations where people are supposedly skint because I know somewhere along the line there's been a mistake made to get to that point. Like this girl here - she can't get through this month if she don't have £30 off me? Load of utter bollocks. I'd be insane to lend it back to her when she's proven in the last seven months that she can't be trusted to pay it back. Now I'm quite tight myself this month, but that's my own fault for relying on withdrawing money from William Hill and for paying for darts tickets at short notice. I should be fine within a week, but the last thing I need is to lend someone back the £30 they've owed me for ages that they've inadvertently paid me back. If you're being really picky, you could accuse me of being quite sneaky by having her season ticket after the Everton game - in fairness, the one who used it lives miles away so it made sense for me to take it, but I'm sure at the time we both said I've got the power here to get that £30 off her. Sure enough, there it is. She's probably bargained for having that £30 but she shouldn't be when she's owing me money. I can't stand owing people money and I have no idea how anyone goes through life doing it regularly.

I have done a very similar post to this in the past @Any O'Brien. Basically I agree. I am involved. I'm person A. Person B isn't getting their money. I need it myself this month and most importantly, it is, you know, my fucking money.

Person A bought tickets for West Brom away in April of this year. Person B hadn't paid back and kept putting it off. Person B didn't go to the last home game against Everton. Person A has their season ticket as they gave a lift home to the person who did use it. Person B then sells their season ticket for Man City at home this weekend for the exact same amount that the West Brom ticket went for to a randomer online. Said randomer turns up at Person A's house to get the ticket and pay the money. Person B asks Person A for the £30, and for them to pay it back to Person A at the end of the month as they're very hard up. But Person A has also had a tight month money wise and could do with it themselves. Who is in the wrong? I'm 99% sure I know the answer here, I just want some neutral opinions. It doesn't necessarily involve me.
  6. He's clearly got some quality about him. Still unsure he fits us though.
  7. https://englandshirefootball.blogspot.co.uk/2017/11/this-is-how-it-feels-to-be-leicester.html On a separate note - so much time for this article. Give me something like this over the usual tabloid drivel.

  9. Dodgy dodgy country Thailand. Can't say I'm desperate to know about how their wealth has come about. I'd imagine they'll get off with it but you never know. Could be another Shinawatra.
  10. 100% agree with moving games around the country. I can't see myself ever warming to Wembley. It's acoustics are horrendous and England games there are associated with being utter kack. Get them up and down the country.
  11. It's not implausible. England's wide options are a massive weakness. Obviously he's going to have to up his game significantly in the league but last week was a very good start.

Ah that's what I thought you meant. I'm amazed people go on them. You're literally putting money into a machine that has the ability to dictate how much you lose.

Explain what you mean by fixed odds machine, I'm always gambling but haven't actually been in a bookies in a good year or two.
  14. Think I played about 12 games on the spin on seasons with Leipzig. No real weakness with that side. Great stuff. -----------------------------Gulacsi-------------------------------- Klostermann - Orban - Compper - Halstenberg -------------------- Keita ----- Demme ------------------------ -----Sabitzer ---------------------------------- Forsberg----- ---------------- Poulsen ---- Werner -------------------------
  15. It actually amazes me that people within the FA can't see that the system isn't working. Either they can't see it or their priorities are totally different to what they should be. About time the fans stopped going. £45 a ticket for that earlier apparently. Absolute lunacy.
  16. Not on your own. It's ruined FIFA I think. Far too much goes into pointless shit on there that could be put into better improvements. But when people pay hundreds just to get teams that you can unlock eventually if you're any good anyway then what hope have you really got.
  17. Genuinely think we've hit the point where getting out the group has become the new make the quarters for us. Shocking.
  18. Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the squad literally due to being a talking point on deadline day. You have to laugh.
  19. Yeah definitely, and I think we've failed to do it again. I think a lot of us were hoping for Iheanacho to be that man but I reckon he'll probably be Vardy's long-term replacement as he ages and loses his pace, although he's a different kind of player to Vardy too. Okazaki's had a good start this season and good on him. Like I've said, not the greatest player, but a largely overlooked cog in our machine and an absurd work rate.
  20. I've got a bad feeling about it all if I'm honest (although I think I've turned quite negative ) that he's a good player but not necessarily the right fit. I could be wrong but that's my fear for this signing. I'd guess after the past two games that Okazaki will start as we were noticeably better with him on the pitch both times. I think we take what he gives us for granted, it's easy to do when you see him lose balance thirty times a game and not act as a huge goal threat of creative spark, but his energy and his breaking up of play from in the oppositions half is vital. He's a true dark horse of this side.
  21. Also in news today... Nigel Pearson has gone to OH Leuven the club King Power bought in the summer. This is a surprising move, not only that he's now managing in Belgium, but that he's actually back on terms with King Power again after what happened two years ago. I have this sneaky feeling he isn't finished here.
  22. Too early to say for reasons Stan has mentioned. Didn't play particularly well at Huddersfield but then again the whole team didn't. My worry with him is that he won't work with Vardy. I get the feeling we may have bought yet another forward who you'd play with Okazaki, rather than with Vardy, just like Slimani is. I wonder if it's a long-term replacement for Vardy.
