During the staff party in 2017, we ended up walking through some fields in a drunken state trying to work out the way back to SirBalon's (RIP) house. @Stan being the monster that he is thought it would be funny to set the field alight, burning the famers livelihood in the process. Hopefully this has struck a nerve with him and influenced future behaviour for the better.

Well that's a blanket phrase if ever I saw one. There are millions of shy people out there, bit disrespectful and a major assumption to say that someone at the age of 23 shouldn't be shy. The world is made up of many different people, we're all wired up differently and getting through life at our own pace - if anything people who say they've been with millions of girls make me laugh, because IMO it just shows that you've got low standards and are incapable of pleasing someone in the long term.

Meh, I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. It's not the be all and end all, just be yourself and the right person will come along.

Yeah I don't know the ins and outs but basically everyone who I know that uses dating sites has said that POF and Tinder are the main ones when it comes to just looking for someone to shag on a night. I think that the way that eHarmony comes across on the TV suggests that it might be more of a serious site, but I wouldn't like to put money on it. I think with the way the world is (not got a problem with it like) is that most people are just up for shagging - the people looking for true love are probably in the minority . The people that I've worked with for example who are using the sites have said that it's just a portal to get a bit of action here and there - shag, block, move on.

If the worst happened and I ended up single I'd probably use dating sites - be arsed going into clubs and such to find someone, I think it'd be much easier and quicker to find a match based on a pretty good algorithm and crack on from there. Due to my circumstances I've never had to use a site (met the wife when I was 18) but yeah, don't see why some people are so against dating sites and don't understand the stigma that surrounds them. I think you've got to know where you're signing up too, if you're looking for true love on the likes of Tinder then you're on the wrong app well known to just be a shagging portal.

It's just my opinion, but probably best to leave the name dropping of @Tommy now too. He's a great guy and I think that point has been made that you didn't appreciate his post (rightly or wrongly). The continuous posting about what he did or didn't mean isn't helpful for anyone IMO and to be honest I think isn't warranted against a guy who in my experience is a really nice bloke. It might sound a bit off topic but have you spoken with your parents/family about your struggles Brian? Perhaps talking closer to home would help.

It might be for the best that you take a break from here, for a week or so @Mpache? The forum is clearly making your irate/depressed judging by your posts from yesterday and today so it might be worth just taking a time and putting your mind to better use elsewhere. Head to the recording booth and start work on a new track? Get into seismology ahead of your college course? Start a scouting project? I just think that going round and round in circles isn't doing you any good mate, you don't need to leave forever or request to be banned - just log off and come back in a week or two.
  15. Felt a bit of sick in my mouth as a result of seeing that TikTok shite. Oh my giddy arse.

My OCD has been set off with how close the gravy is to the edge of that plate.
  18. I think K-Mag could have been something special, 2nd place in his first GP says it all. He just got a bit lost in the wilderness with his moves to Renault and then going to Haas which would become the backmarker car. Don't get me wrong, you make your own luck and perhaps he could have done more with McLaren, but the potentially was definitely there with him for me.
  19. Absolutely, should be considered strange or poor from the club - the end of the season should be when this stuff should happen as doing it earlier (like you said) is basically an early ticket to the beach for some.
  20. I put around 1000 hours into each FM and I think they're at the point now where the game is consistently good without actually going that one step better. I thought that FM20 and FM21 were no better (or worse) than 19, with just a few tweaks here and there. If you wasn't bothered about the latest up to date information I'd advise a newbie just to save some money and pick up the 2019 edition. I must say too, credit to them for releasing the game after a year in Covid but I've never played a game more buggy than FM21 in it's initial release. Teams not registering their players, newgens not being created amongst a ton of other game-breaking shit. It was horrendous, to the point where I legit rage-quitted from the franchise for a month or two around Xmas.
  21. I didn't do Ohyssey, but did Origins (and all its DLC). Absolutely loved that. I'm hoping that post England is gets going, because I really would like to love it.
  22. Same here, started so well but England has bored me to death. I've claimed three bits of the map and it's just "Go here, speak to him, kill them" Rinse. And. Repeat.
