There was a time I'd lose my shit over this, but now I'm not that arsed. Football has been killed slowly for a while now and is only going to get worse, in 20 years we will have one big Super League and instead of having home/away games there will be "wildcards" in Shanghai, Doha, NYC and Abu Dhabi. I genuinely think in such time I could be one of those people that starts following non-league football in and effort to restart the romance of what the sport is all about - it's just a cash cow now.

Claude from AFTV has passed away, really upsetting to hear as he was probably the only person on there that I really had a lot of time for, and would watch his videos without fail. Hearing his struggles with mental health was heavy, and seeing the recent abuse that he had on his channel makes it all the more upsetting. It's really not hard to just be kind.

Moving from the Factory Yamaha team is probably the best thing that could happen to him to be honest, no pressure just him going out there on raw talent and having fun. I think too much expectation (probably quite rightly) was put on Vale when it was clear that he was past his peak, but still had so much more to give.

@Bluewolf always had some really good stories of the 1953 floods, as he was in his 40's at the time he was part of the successful search and rescue project that is fondly talked about today.

As much as VAR was a farce when it came in and causes some stupid decisions now, the games where it is not used now (such as the cup competitions) are not as enjoyable for me now. VAR is brilliant if used the right way and I think slowly the officials are getting better, despite some obvious issues.
