  1. That's ridiculous how they're trying to shove the idea that Benteke's been good for you down your throat.
  2. The multiplayer in Halo 5 was fucking excellent imo. But the campaign was dogshit. Tbh, I never really liked Halo's campaigns - I know a lot of people do. Just struck me as standard FPS in space and stuff. For some reason, I found the Gears campaigns much more compelling. I love Halo multiplayer though, and when they make the multiplayer good... it's really good. I played Halo 5 multiplayer a shitload for about 2 years after it came out and every once in a while jump on it. Absolutely love that game for it's multiplayer & with 5, the game skips a lot of the shite that made me hate Halo ODST/Reach/4 multiplayer and goes a bit closer to its roots. The only thing I don't really like about Halo 5's online is the Spartan charge... and (while some people love it), I can't be arsed with the Warzone mode - Arena all day for me. So I hope the Halo series doesn't die any time soon. Because there are quite a few people like me who absolutely love the series for it's multiplayer... and can't really be arsed with the campaigns (I'll always play the Halo campaigns... but it's secondary in the purchase of the game for me). If they keep the multiplayer strong, I'm always down for a bit of Halo. My preferred console FPS by far, for multiplayer at least.
  3. I liked the first 3 (and the 3rd is the weakest) but I think Judgment is 100% poo. Gears 4 is quality though and if you like the series, I think chances are you'll enjoy the campaign. And if you like the multiplayer, it's supposed to be the best iteration of it (which... it should be, considering it's the 5th Gears game lol).
  4. Just beat Gears of War 4 last night. If you like the Gears of War series... it's a good game. I thought it was the best one since the first one. I gave the multiplayer a spin because I used to like that (around 10 years ago or whenever the first one came out). Got totally fucking wrecked lol. I started the Mad Max game and... HOLY SHIT! It's actually pretty fucking good, I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. Even though it can be a bit repetitive (although I think most open world games do tbh).
  5. There are a lot of players who've done well in either La Liga or Serie A, struggled in England, and then left to go on to continue positive career development though. I don't think that's anything new or surprising. Wasn't Suso also a kid when he joined us? And when he did play for the first team, you'd see moments of real quality despite never showing the end product. And then when he went to AC Milan, he looks a hell of a lot better (although Milan are a total shambles right now and have been for years). Aspas never looked ready for the pace and physicality of England, and he hardly ever got any time on the pitch with Suarez around and Sturridge staying relatively injury free that season and being in immense form - so I do think confidence may have been a factor as well. Though there's no excuse for that awful corner
  6. That happens literally all the time, every day in Merseyside though
  7. I'd love a grassroots side that is for all Merseysiders. Reds, blues, and Tranmere too (don't forget about my side of the Mersey - although I never really liked Tranmere... does that make me a glory hunter? ) - would be cool, I think.
  8. I don't know why - they've got a GDP that's smaller than Italy's. Crush their oligarchs with sanctions so the oligarchs stop supporting Putin - stopping their oligarchs from accessing their money is the key to fighting back with Russia. What's the point of stealing wealth from your country if you can't access that wealth? Although that would mean London's finance would have to stop laundering their money, or be in violation of sanctions (and those cunts that I hate having as Liverpool sponsors, Standard Chartered, and other big banks will try to secretly get past sanctions because they want to make money off the super rich).
  9. I forgot all about him haha, probably because I was a kid and he wasn't anything to fucking remember. I'll revise my statement: the worst Everton manager that I've seen in my life, that is actually memorable.
  10. This is the lad who said Salah didn't improve us saying he's not going to take you seriously. If anything that's a good thing.
  11. That's a bit much, imagine if they'd done that for Hodge-Podge. I never thought I could think less of Fat Sam compared to before he took the job, but he truly is awful. Hands down the worst Everton manager I've ever seen, even with the very small sample size of matches. So it'd be a bit funny if they didn't sack him. They absolutely should sack him, but with their owner who knows. They absolutely should have signed a replacement for Lukaku and not sign a shitload of #10s, yet here we are today. And if Everton are now going to waste their new found wealth on letting Fat Sam run wild with a big warchest... well god help them. I'd feel for them, but also think it's pretty funny. Like I do with him in charge right now.
  12. Think we'll do anything about the spy Russia poisoned (with his daughter)?
  13. I hope he actually does keep his job beyond the end of this season.
  14. Cusco seems pretty cool though. And if we can find flights at the right price, I'm leaning towards that option a bit. I really want to go to South America sometime soon, and I'd like to be able to do like a little tour of the continent - so I think we might not do this for our next trip... but definitely sometime soon in the future. Found a pretty great deal on flights & a hotel in Hawaii, so @Toinho and I will have a lot of Island shagging for that week
  15. I haven't wanted anyone to score as much as I want Ings to score this season, except for maybe when Crouch hadn't scored his first Liverpool goal for a long while

He has the right attitude. Given time it will happen for him. Gets into good spaces, challenges for lost balls and doesn't like giving up. I think hes due a goal sooner rather than later.

  16. He was signed before Klopp came in I'm pretty sure. He's good at headers, I think. I don't really know, we've barely seen any of him.
  17. That sounds pretty good.
  18. It's cheaper than the options we were looking at in Hawaii and cheaper than the NYC trip she had planned. Not a cheap place by any stretch of imagination, but a cheaper option overall compared to some other places.
  19. All good choices - I'll probably have to stay in the US though because of budgetary reasons. Which is a bit shit. Maybe Hawaii? I'm between that or NYC. My girlfriend wants to do Vegas, but I don't really like Vegas all that much. But is probably our cheapest option.
  20. It'd be an awful appointment tbh. Everton need a lot of work and bringing in a man who's seemingly lost his touch and is increasingly under pressure seems like a recipe for failure. And Wenger deserves better than his legendary career ending up sacked with the blueshite.
  21. I thought Fat Sam was an underwhelming choice, but I couldn't have imagined him being this poor. Sidenote, Ashley Williams is a cunt.
