  1. True, although playing while seasoning seems like it'd be tough. I don't know why I don't play it more when I'm traveling for work... or when I'm sitting on the toilet lol. Zelda was quality too, I'm not sure why I stopped playing despite enjoying the little I did play of Mario. I did just see that there was a new Fallout teaser trailer for a game called Fallout: 78. I fucking love the Fallout series, even if 4 was nowhere as good as New Vegas. So I'm excited.
  2. I got this shortly after buying a switch... but I've barely played it at all. I've barely played the switch at all tbh, which is a shame.
  3. Oh yeah the whole killing off species where there aren't very many left because of superstitious bullshit practices is very irritating. Scavengers are hugely important to the planet - a vulture is essentially mother nature's binman.
  4. Pingo is cute as fuck.
  5. In the middle east a lot of people think dogs and cats are dirty - my grandparents were the same. But I don't think it's expressly prohibited. I could be wrong though.
  6. Yeah I'd never heard of that either. They should give having dogs a chance, maybe that'll stop them from joining fucking ISIS or whatever. "Yeah, I want to be a martyr, but I also want my dog to be happy and taken care of. So I guess I don't want to be a martyr." *edit* This post sort of makes me sound like a dumb cunt who thinks all Muslims are terrorists. So I'm going to edit this sentence in so I acknowledge that I sound like that - but obviously I don't fucking think that all Muslims are terrorists, it's just a joke.
  7. Aw that's shit. Shame you couldn't have taken her off their hands, as they weren't really caring for her and you would have given her a happy life. At least she had some good times with you, I suppose. But still that's sad
  8. @Cannabis & I (and our kitties) will cut you.
  9. Nah he usually fucking hates when I plays, the volume has to be just in the right spot on the amp for him to not fuck off to the next room over. If it's too quiet he'll hear the sound of the pick on the strings and he hates that, if it's too loud he hates the amp just generally. He likes sitting on the amp after I've just played though, because of the tube warmth. So if I'm playing and he starts doing this, he's telling me to shut the fuck up with the guitaring and to give him some pets
  10. Oh and here's my older cat, Cosmo, with his subtle method of getting me to stop playing guitar and giving him pets.
  11. When I was a kid we had 2 dogs (RIP) and I couldn't imagine ever liking a dog more than a cat. When I moved in with my fiancé, she had a cat... and that cute little fucker is probably the best pet I've ever had. He's just a hilarious little bastard and even though people say that cats are evil and hate us... he's so affectionate and cuddly I can't help but love the shit out of him. And my friend was fostering kittens (I don't know how people do that, taking care of kittens when they're at their cutest before giving them up to a shelter to find new homes) and one of them was obsessed with me for some reason... so when she was taken back to the shelter yesterday, I was at the shelter ready to take her home lol. So I'm good with dogs or cats, I think they're both capable of being fucking fantastic pets. No real preference between them as domestic animals. There's a lot of cool looking wolves species, so not all wild dogs are to be dismissed. Grey wolves seem pretty fucking cool to me. But yeah, I think wild cats are generally cooler.
  12. THAT IS SO COOL! I just googled to see if there was anything like that around me because of your post and... https://lionstigersandbears.org/ So thank you going to have to take a trip out there at some point.
  13. Tigers for me. Like this 20 year old majestic one: But to be honest, I think all big cats are pretty fantastic. Little ones too
  14. That's my favourite non-feline animal for sure. Has been since I was a kid.
  15. Karius's distribution for the 2nd half of the season has been fine. He wasn't demonstrating the kind of errors he made at the beginning of his LFC career until the final. I think the biggest criticism of Karius early on was more like their 3rd goal. Just incredibly poor shot stopping. But that first goal he let in was the worst error I've ever seen from him and one of, if not, the worst error I've ever seen from a LFC keeper. Worse than a schoolboy error. The only person to blame for the error is the person who made the error.
  16. I skipped work today to adopt a kitten. Quality decision

  17. You can extrapolate the discussion more broadly pretty easily to be generally a discussion of when you think a manager deserves the sack. Does Mourinho deserve the sack? You've improved a bit, but the football is pretty dull and you don't look any closer to winning anything despite making a final and then being unable to break down the bus parked ahead of you. I don't think he deserves the sack this season. You've made improvement in the league, so results have improved even when performances have not. And you're a hard to beat side. But if next season goes similarly to this season, where you maybe make a cup final but can't break down the side ahead of you and make top 4 comfortably but don't win it. Maybe the performances have been much improved though or something to give some fans reason to believe some sort of improvement has happened... but it's again, another disappointing season. Do you sack him? Or do you keep him? But I guess it can be hard to compare the two, because the circumstances are different and like I said... this is all circumstantial. With United fans, I know there's already a group that thinks Mourinho should be sacked ASAP - I think right now Klopp's got 99% of fans onboard despite not having ultimate success in the CL final. Also Klopp's done a lot more building with the squad and the side - he's done a lot to not just bring in players to improve us (and he's done quite well in the transfer market) and improve the performances of those already here pretty substantially. I don't think many United players have had the same kind of role transitions and flourishment we've seen from either Firmino or Lallana, for example. Regardless of the fact that bringing in Matic was a great move (and probably his best move at United). I wouldn't sack a manager that's making any sort of upward trend though, whether in results, performances on the pitch, ideally both, or building a side that's got quality and depth and demonstrates it. I'd only sack a manager after a pattern of regression that demonstrates the rot cannot be stopped by the man in charge.
  18. If a team is a point away from a title or one bad match away from winning the CL but then blow it in the final... I don't think sacking that manager is sacking a manager that's failed to build a team capable of winning something. And I don't think one bad season means you need to get rid of a manager after years of constant progression. Sure if we're looking like Arsenal did where things have gotten very stale and we've had no semblance of progression, then sure... sack him after years of no progression. But when you actually see the squad improve, the football improve, and the results improve (sure we came in the same league position, but we also went on a glorious cup run and added more matches to our season). I don't think it's a black and white situation. You have the look at the circumstances before making that decision.
  19. It may have had an influence, but that doesn't mean Karius shouldn't have looked first before doing anything. Youthful inexperience maybe, but still very stupid.
  20. It's all circumstantial. If we lose in a cup final or 2 against a good side and miss out on the title by a point or 2... that's devestating and I will probably be raging. But calling for his head after that would be silly I think. Someone building a side strong enough to compete shouldn't be ousted if they compete and come close. It would be his work that's improved us. And he's done that each year, gradual improvement. I wouldn't want to end that just to punish him for coming very close. If we're out of the title race early and are shit in the cups only playing for top 4, or not competing for the top 4 and competing in a cup... that's more of a cause for concern. But sacking someone who's done a good job and had one bad setback is also risky. Sacking Rafa after Aquilani was too injured to really replace Alonso, who was probably our most important player the season prior, because Rafa had a bad year for the first year was something that never sat well with me. He was a man who took us from Ged's stagnation and made constant improvement season after season until his last season, where there were many issues not even in his control. I'd argue it's taken until Klopp's appointment to really steady the ship since that decision. We're not Chelsea, we can't afford to abandon our long term projects unless we really really have to - at least imo. I think any sort of rebuild means setting us back a few years.
  21. Oblak or Allison are our targets. Klopp seems to not be fucking around.
  22. I don't think playing attacking football means your keeper will necessarily throw the ball right at the striker right next to him to have it bounce off him into the goal. You can take a horse to water, but you can't make that horse not retarded.
