The last punch before Weeks stepped in was a definite low blow but it seemed to me like Kovalev wanted out anyway. Bad stoppage but I think Ward was settling right in and would have stopped him anyway. The lack of protest from Kovalev said it all, he had nothing left. He half heartedly complained in the post fight interview but his reaction told everything.

Ward v Kovalev 2 this weekend. Think I had Kovalev by a round in the first one but it was close either way. Expect a similar close fight again but think Ward might take it a little more convincingly

It's a difficult one for Brook. It would be difficult for him to win a title if he moves up I think. I agree that the Khan fight doesn't have as much pull as it would have before Brook's two defeats. It depends how both of them come back from their defeats I suppose. Certainly not doing Wembley at the moment though like you say

Watched Josh Warrington v Kiko Martinez last night. Close fight, Warrington deserved it, just. Think his lack of power will only take him so far though. The FW division is so strong, he doesn't great any of the belt holders or the few outside of them.

Might not hurt Joshua from a distance but I could see Fury winning a points decision if Fury is close to what he was at the point of the Klitschko fight

AJ knocks Wilder into next week. Easy fight for Joshua. Fury is much more difficult if he comes back close to the level he was when he fought Klitschko. Great fight last night. Fair play to Joshua thought he was gone in the middle rounds. I've never really been on the Joshua hype train but he proved a lot to me last night.

Been changing my mind on this all week but the closer the fight gets the more I think this is too soon for Joshua. Klitschko is a huge step up from what AJ has faced so far. I can see it being a cagey start and Klitschko setting traps as the fight goes on and looking to frustrate Joshua. Any outcome wouldn't surprise me though, even a boring 12 rounds. I've had a bet on two outcomes. Klitschko 7-12 and Joshua decision.
