  1. I haven't been for three years now. Be arsed paying upwards of 40 quid to go along to an absolute circus. Last time I was updated on the season ticket waiting list I was 11000-odd. I'm not sure if I'd bother if I was ever offered one now anyway
  2. Nothings been announced yet. Just the club talking in the press. They've suggested previously through the media that they won't expand so I wouldn't get over excited just yet
  3. Where did I say it wasn't? Was just saying that it's a no brainer
  4. Ridiculous if they don't go ahead with the next phase of expansion. A club of Liverpool's size should not be playing in a stadium under 60,000. Should be much more than that really.

I doubt Canelo, or his team should I say, will take that fight. If he does, it'll be when Golovkin is over the hill

Yeah that's a fair argument and Joshua has proved he can take a shot and Fury might not have the power to keep him away. It'd be intriguing anyway

Might not hurt Joshua from a distance but I could see Fury winning a points decision if Fury is close to what he was at the point of the Klitschko fight

AJ knocks Wilder into next week. Easy fight for Joshua. Fury is much more difficult if he comes back close to the level he was when he fought Klitschko. Great fight last night. Fair play to Joshua thought he was gone in the middle rounds. I've never really been on the Joshua hype train but he proved a lot to me last night.

Been changing my mind on this all week but the closer the fight gets the more I think this is too soon for Joshua. Klitschko is a huge step up from what AJ has faced so far. I can see it being a cagey start and Klitschko setting traps as the fight goes on and looking to frustrate Joshua. Any outcome wouldn't surprise me though, even a boring 12 rounds. I've had a bet on two outcomes. Klitschko 7-12 and Joshua decision.

I could see either outcome. A lot depends on what the 18 month lay off has done to Klitschko. Could see Joshua winning early but if I had to stick my neck out I'd go with Klitschko late.

Joshua v Klitschko this weekend. Predictions?
  12. Just sign a fucking better keeper. I can picture a situation in like September or October next season where Mignolet's made a couple of fuck ups and we're swapping keepers again. Whether we qualify for the Champions League or not we need a new one. If we qualify, what we have isn't good enough for that level. If we just miss out then the goalkeeper and the defence is going to be a big reason why we haven't (over the course of the season)

Shame that the Smith V Williams fight ended how it did. Would have been interesting if it had gone on. Think Williams looked like he was slowing down and Smith may have eventually got to him. Good fight and they definitely need the rematch

Liam Smith V Liam Williams this weekend should be a cracker. Think Smith stops him mid/late rounds
  15. Lallana out for a month. Big miss Saturday and the other games he misses
  16. Did Budapest in February too. Agree, Szimpla Kert is great

Hearn is surely going to have to have a couple of big fights on the undercard for this one. Brook isn't a pay per view fighter on his own and part time fans won't even know who Spence is.

Brook V Spence confirmed for May. Very good fight
  19. Sad, one of the last of the old school. In almost 50 years of service he did it all. From second division to European Champions. A proper Liverpool legend. R.I.P.

Jacobs was huge compared to Golovkin who isn't a massive MW anyway. He found it difficult to get on the inside against Jacobs and couldn't risk taking a shot to land one because of Jacobs' power. Golovkin v Canelo is a completely different fight. Canelo isn't going to be as evasive as Jacobs was. If Golovkin v Canelo happens this year I'd still go with Golovkin. At 35 (next month) though, he's obviously going to be on the wane. Canelo's team are probably going to drag it out as long as possible due to Golovkin's age.
