Frampton started well tonight but faded middle rounds and started getting caught too much. Entertaining fight though

Never caught fire like the first fight but was an intriguing watch nonetheless. Had Smith by a couple

Yep, I think last time Smith was coming on strong and Williams looked out on his feet. Smith would have won within a round or two for me regardless of the controversy last time

Smith V Williams 2 should be an other cracker tonight. Think a similar outcome to last time where Smith stops him mid-late rounds. I've done 10-12 at 12/1.
  5. There's a chance he'd be an ever so slight improvement on the two we have but that would be debatable.
  6. You were doing great until you mentioned Joe Hart
  7. The stats for home and away aren't really comparable until the end of the season though. 9 of the goals we've conceded away came in two games against City and Spurs. At home we've only really played an Arsenal side who were awful at the time and a Man United side who had no intention of coming to try to win. Most teams are going to be stronger at home anyway. Last season we conceded 6 more away from home, not much difference really

This. I'm far from being on the 'AJ is the greatest heavyweight ever' bandwagon but I just don't think Wilder is that much of a difficult fight for Joshua. Joshua is a much better boxer and Wilder seems all over the place at times in terms of the punches he throws. I think Joshua wins in the middle rounds. Of course, Wilder carries huge power so if he lands one of those bombs it could well be over but I think Joshua and McCracken will have a game plan to avoid that

State of Stiverne last night. Seen 50 year old fellas down the pub in better shape.
  10. Keita has picked up his third red card in about a month tonight. Is he gonna be another brain dead cunt?
  11. It's not though is it. Surely you only look to replace someone if you're going to improve on them? Say the options presented to the manager after Van Dijk are similar in quality to what we already have, what's the point? It isn't good enough and heads do need to roll but is it just the manager or everyone involved that needs to take the flak? You'd think it was just the manager who was involved in the whole process listening to some!
  12. That's not really how it works at Liverpool though is it. I think there's an argument that Klopp has just decided not to go down the road Rodgers did with Balotelli in such an important position. He couldn't get his man so he's not accepting the dross that's been put to him after VVD failed. He wouldn't win either way though. I very much doubt that Klopp has put forward Robertson cos he was desperate to sign him, he's been offered him and accepted. This ties in with a couple of things I've read about what happened during the summer, as does the CB situation. Also explains why he's not getting a look in ahead of a fella who looked to be on his way out
  13. Nope, there's plenty of better keepers, centre backs and central midfielders that would suit the side more than some of the farts we have at the moment
  14. It's not really any worse though looking at the season he took over and last season, it's very much the same, give or take a few goals. In fact last season is the fewest we've conceded in the league since 2012.
  15. Just improving on Henderson and Can would see improvement though, as well as like I say a CB and keeper
  16. Kane doesn't beat Lovren to the ball. Lovren completely misses the header! He heads that and let's the side regroup, they don't score. That simple.
  17. And a dead good defensive midfielder covers the full backs. Bin the keeper(s), Lovren and Henderson and bring in some quality in their place and the side improves ten fold. Maybe Klopp could be more pragmatic and not expose these players who aren't talented enough to play like we do but i firmly believe adding quality down that spine would solve a lot of issues for us. I have my doubts that Liverpool will spend the sort of money needed on those positions though
  18. Agree. Take the second goal. That's not the system, it should be basic defending for a Premier League centre back but the cunt completely misses the fucking ball when he had the advantage of going to attack the ball and Kane has his back to goal.
  19. I get that the defence is exposed because there's no protection in front of them, or behind them for that matter, it doesn't excuse some of the laughable individual mistakes though. Been crying out for a good defensive midfielder since Mascherano left. Lucas had a decent spell under Dalglish before he fucked his knee and one should have been signed in the January of that season. Just seems like we've neglected it since then really. A new keeper, at least one centre back and a midfielder to play alongside Keita are musts before the start of next season. Ideally you'd get a couple of them in January but we all know Liverpool won't sign anyone in January.
  20. I certainly don't feel bad for a fella who gets paid 100k a week to play football really badly.
  21. Started Ozark the other night. Three episodes in, enjoying it so far

Yeah definitely a huge step up in quality for Eubank. He's not faced anyone with Groves' power. He can say he beat Abraham but he was way over the hill then and the fight went as most expected. I definitely favour Groves but it's just whether he can stay on it for 12 rounds for me. Could easily see a situation where he has a good start and Eubank starts to take over in the second half of the fight and Groves runs out of steam
