Can't be anything serious. LFC didn't mention it in their round up of internationals and neither did the Echo. If it's a dead leg he may miss the weekend but will probably be fit for Wednesday. Bit of an overreaction to say he's going to miss the run in like!

Mourinho is proper having them off. How much has he spent and how much is he paid to try and improve these poor European results he talks about? He's telling them that they were shit in Europe before he got there and it's not his fault that's still the case. The main thing he tries to deflect the attention away from too is the fact him and Guardiola both took over at the same time, their respective clubs only separated by goal difference the season before. Both have spent fortunes but one is pissing the league and progressed in Europe while the other is a mile behind in the league and serving up some of the most turgid shite their fans will have ever seen.

I get the whole release clause thing, I just still don't see it as a reason to celebrate our get excited. I'll enjoy watching these play while they're here because they're fucking great to watch at times and hopefully they can win some silverware too but getting excited over players signing new contracts who more than likely won't be here that long? Nah. I remember when we used to celebrate winning trophies

They may enjoy it here and they may not do better anywhere else but it doesn't mean they wouldn't try if an offer came along from a side that pretty much guaranteed silverware every year

Although he's tall for a super middle I think he's comfortable at the weight so I don't see why he'd move up. Not yet anyway. Some huge punchers at light heavy and he'd find it difficult to win a belt there.
