Saunders v Murray will be a one sided borefest imo. Like you say Saunders is on another level. Don't see Murray getting near him to be honest. Really like Martin Murray but his chances of winning a belt are long gone
It doesn't really matter where they're coming from as long as they're good enough. You get what you pay for. At 4m Karius was always going to be more hope than expectation. Spend big on a top keeper and there's less chance of it going wrong.
So he's ran to the papers, that's surely him done now. If Karius gets a run of games and proves he isn't good enough, which I think he will, hopefully that means a new keeper in the summer.
Funny how Coutinho was gone so quickly after Van Dijk arrived though innit? Not me being critical of the club/FSG either. I think they've done well to get Van Dijk in (and Keita arranged for the summer) before Coutinho went but I think that's the Coutinho money spent.
Don't see Saunders moving up to SMW. There's a chance Eubank could move back down after the Super Series. Would love to see that fight again. Think the Saunders we saw last night beats Eubank more comfortably than three years ago
He's very underrated Saunders. Probably because he tends to stink the gaff out when he fights much lesser opponents. The more dangerous opponents seem to bring the best out in him. And yeah, Ingle is an important factor too. He needs the big fights to keep coming now. A decent interim fight after Christmas while he waits for the Golovkin/Canelo winner. Not saying he'd beat either of those but if he's on his game he can go close
Saunders v Lemieux will be interesting tonight. Edge towards Saunders but if he fades towards the end like he often does then Lemieux has the power to stop him
Looks like Fury is free to box next year after accepting a back dated ban from UKAD. Hopefully he gets his licence back and is serious about getting back in the ring
Hearn uses this money thing with Wilder and Parker but when it comes to Burnett and Yafai he's on about 'securing their future'. He's just as bad as their promoters as they are with theirs.
