  1. Nope, there's plenty of better keepers, centre backs and central midfielders that would suit the side more than some of the farts we have at the moment
  2. It's not really any worse though looking at the season he took over and last season, it's very much the same, give or take a few goals. In fact last season is the fewest we've conceded in the league since 2012.
  3. Just improving on Henderson and Can would see improvement though, as well as like I say a CB and keeper
  4. Kane doesn't beat Lovren to the ball. Lovren completely misses the header! He heads that and let's the side regroup, they don't score. That simple.
  5. And a dead good defensive midfielder covers the full backs. Bin the keeper(s), Lovren and Henderson and bring in some quality in their place and the side improves ten fold. Maybe Klopp could be more pragmatic and not expose these players who aren't talented enough to play like we do but i firmly believe adding quality down that spine would solve a lot of issues for us. I have my doubts that Liverpool will spend the sort of money needed on those positions though
  6. Agree. Take the second goal. That's not the system, it should be basic defending for a Premier League centre back but the cunt completely misses the fucking ball when he had the advantage of going to attack the ball and Kane has his back to goal.
  7. I get that the defence is exposed because there's no protection in front of them, or behind them for that matter, it doesn't excuse some of the laughable individual mistakes though. Been crying out for a good defensive midfielder since Mascherano left. Lucas had a decent spell under Dalglish before he fucked his knee and one should have been signed in the January of that season. Just seems like we've neglected it since then really. A new keeper, at least one centre back and a midfielder to play alongside Keita are musts before the start of next season. Ideally you'd get a couple of them in January but we all know Liverpool won't sign anyone in January.
  8. I certainly don't feel bad for a fella who gets paid 100k a week to play football really badly.
  9. Started Ozark the other night. Three episodes in, enjoying it so far

Yeah definitely a huge step up in quality for Eubank. He's not faced anyone with Groves' power. He can say he beat Abraham but he was way over the hill then and the fight went as most expected. I definitely favour Groves but it's just whether he can stay on it for 12 rounds for me. Could easily see a situation where he has a good start and Eubank starts to take over in the second half of the fight and Groves runs out of steam

Groves v Eubank Jr in the WBSS semi final after Groves' win last night in the 4th over Jamie Cox. I'd edge for Groves over Eubank at the moment although I think it's one of them where you can definitely make a case for Eubank and will probably change my mind multiple times between now and when the fight takes place
  13. Shooter series 2. Not feeling this series at all. First series was great though

I liked him but he's getting boring now. Until he does actually get back in the ring he needs ignoring

Strange one that. For this Saturday I'm thinking, Dodd, Fielding and Butler all on points. Just under 8/1

I don't think Haye will ever be 100% fit again though. His body won't hold up against a meaningful opponent. On Ward, he didn't get the credit some think he deserved because of his style, boring and dirty. Great talent at times but the boring excessive holding, headbutts and low blows just can't be ignored
  20. That's what the FSG apologists will have you believe.
  21. But wanted to sign 26 year old Van Dijk for a huge sum of money. If he had the option, he would. Any manager would
  22. I'm sure if Klopp had the option to spend hundreds of millions on the defence over the course of a couple of years he would. But Liverpool aren't Man City...
  23. No one will get full control over transfers at Liverpool or very few other clubs. It seems to me that any alternatives offered to Klopp instead of Van Dijk when he became unobtainable, he obviously doesn't fancy. Whereas Rodgers accepted the bottom of the barrel option when we signed Balotelli for example, when he couldn't get Sanchez as the Suarez replacement. Either way, it's the manager that will get the stick. Klopp will get it when our defensive options are running short on numbers and quality. Just like Rodgers got it when the players signed under his name turned out to be poor. Everyone else involved will continue to get away with it.
