  1. Got the results today, she is negative. Could be a host of things including a false negative which so often happens here.
  2. Oh...For some reason I thought they were stop the clock during the red flag...That is sad, I was hoping to see the ending to this one.
  3. So what is the latest? The YouTube stream is off... Did they just stop the race early?
  4. Maybe some, but there is a very active conversation going on between a good bit of people, right now about wearing masks. hah
  5. I love that their are still over 800 people watching the stream even though it's not set to start for hours.
  6. It doesn't look like it's raining that hard...?

    Thanks for the invite.
  8. Well, wife posted a fever this morning and has been in bed all day. Hoping we get the test results back and she is able to pull through soon.

Yeah, I've been put in a weird spot. I have been running a lot, getting ready for a busy year of races, and then my wife gets 2 calls about having direct contact with someone with the coronavirus, so now we are acting like we have it until she gets her test results back. So now I'm trying to figure out my running regime. Usually my runs are between 2-4 hours at least, and so I used to do them after packing off my wife and daughter to school and daycare, but now I don't have that luxury NOR do I feel safe running around others while I (could) be positive. Chances are I'm going to have to move my runs to midnight or 1am to make it work...sounds awful and horrible, but I can't think of another way. Will likely also buy a treadmill to 'mix' it up.
  10. Wait, F1 will be here next week? That'll be brilliant!
  11. I mostly watched Le Mans at night, but this course looks like one of the most stunning courses I have ever seen. But it looks rather narrow so I'm not sure how much passing could take place if F1 were on this track.
  12. Ah, I assume Nurburg was Nuremburg, but I see they are no where close to one another. I guess i makes sense that some of my favorite races are in cities that aren't too populated. Le Mans, Monza, SPA, etc.
  13. How much does quali matter in races that last 24 hours? I'd imagine with longevity being so important, that you'd not want to run your car too hard during quali in prep for the big race.
  14. This is unreal. I just turned it on and the landscape is like a dream of mine. I have never been to Nurenburg but it looks stunning
  15. Starts tomorrow correct? I'll be watching this as I rather enjoy Le Mans
  16. Is that the same Kobayashi from Le Mans this year?
  17. I have no idea. I would you bet my life savings that he would get whopped in the first election because he is such a doofus, but nope. Sadly, I'm not sure Biden is the best bet for the Democrats, first off he is really old and certainly doesn't excite the youth in this country as much as some other candidates would have. However, he does have his relationship with Obama which will win him votes. But I just don't know anymore. I'm not sure how anyone can vote for him, and I'm shocked when I see First or Second Generation American Women supporting him....it's like they don't understand. So yeah, I don't know. I would bet that Trump would have won in January, but COVID hasn't help, the economy has gone balls up, he's making a mess of the BLM movement, so I can only hope the momentum continues and we get Biden/Harris in office.
  18. Thanks man. I rather hope that we have already had it and just didn't notice, and I'd be fine expect my parents keep checking in because of the asthma thing. Reports here are that we are in the last stages of a vaccine that is supposed to be the solution. We shall see.
  19. I get it, but I never understand the joy and hope of someone's failure, unless they are a total douche of the highest order, which Albon, Gasly and Tsunoda aren't.
  20. But certainly the fact that he could be the first relevant Japanese driver is something to encourage as it would just add to F1? And I like Kyvat, but I don't understand your love of him. To me he appears a decent driver, that sometimes gets too reckless. He is definitely on his last legs of his F1 career, and I would love to get more representation on the grid as long as the drivers are deserving and didn't just pay for their place. I used to loath Stroll for how he was given a silver platter to F1, but he's turned out to be a talented driver so I am happy for him.
