This is one of the leagues I wish I could get behind. I just can't connect with any teams.

What a weekend. Had a tennis tournament on Friday, was at the Masters all day on Saturday, and then yesterday had to do some freelance stuff, concert, Watch the final round of the Masters, and had a work emergency that required me to go into the office from 1am - 3am. I'm absolutely exhausted. Regardless, Happy Birthdays to one of the best guys here. @Tsubasa

Allied 6/10 Not a terrible movie, but it didn't grab me, and something about seeing Brad Pitt in a WWII movie and not portray his character from Inglorious Bastards just seemed wrong to me.

Not yet - The little one is about the size of a grape. Crazy that they can already detect heart beats and tell me the beats per minute. Still in shock and fear over it all really. Egypt should be great.

Well, more big news on the horizon. Got to hear the heart beat yesterday of my wife's and I's first kid. Then found out that I'll be heading to Egypt for about a month or so for some work...

I always remember something he said after a fellow American made the mistake of saying, 'We (US) won the war'. The man sat up straight, and very sternly said, 'Son, it's not wise to assume you won the war, when it wasn't even fought in your country.' Really opened my mind about the American way of thinking, and how we glorify our efforts on WWII, which were great, but we don't spend enough time on Russia's efforts, or the other countries that fought alongside Hitler and Mussolini (i.e. Hungary).

Our (US) version of history is way out of order. I realized this mostly in Russia when I was speaking to a WWII Russian vet who taught me the real ways in which Russia won the war, not the U.S. Very eye opening experience.

Yeah - I looked him up and got it. Didn't remember the group Khmer Rouge though. Pol Pot isn't really covered much in our history courses.

Nope. EDIT: Pol Pot. Got it. Never heard of the Khmer Rouge, but I know about Pol Po and a little of that era.

I have never heard of it, but it makes sense since Cambodia isn't really a country that I know anything about.

My next language will either be - Hungarian, Danish, Dutch, or Arabic. Only one of those is somewhat useful, but whatever.
