Yeah I see. I had to look it up as I haven't heard of this either.

    Tennis

He certainly has a killer serve, but I think he's able to also do a lot more. When I think of 'Serveboy', I think of the two big Americans in Isner or Opelka, whom you can beat pretty easily if you can just get a racket on the serve. Medvedev also plays with great patience, and wears down a lot of his opponents, which I actually enjoy. He plays smart and I like his mental approach to the game.

Ah, I'm a big fan of Medvedev's, so I always go for him and Zverev. Sadly none of the American tennis players I like. I enjoyed Roddick, but since then it's been a couple of big guys who can serve and nothing else, and I hate that kind of tennis.

#11 Schwartzman and the qualifier Van De Zandschulp are in the 4th set, with the Dutchman up 2 sets to 1. What a surprise this would be for the qualifier if he can knock out Diego.

Medvedev taking an early lead over Evans in the first set. Expect him to call this set over and try and regroup for Set #2.
  7. Same. I think I much more enjoy the engineering behind F1 more than anything. One thing I have really loved about F1, are the slow motion shots where a driver hits the mating on a corner, and you can see all the vibrations through the frame to the fender, and see that energy disperse the way it does. Also, and I haven't seen this recently, but those practices where the cars would have a railing on them and paint would splash along the car to show the aerodynamics. It's all brilliant in its own way and I can't get enough of it.
  8. This reminded me of our conversation of the Fischer Space Pen and being able to write in zero gravity and upside down. Regardless, the amount of downforce on these cars and the engineering of them in general, is such a marvel. I've gotten more and more into the actual mechanics of the cars and it really is an engineering beautiful. Still, the craziest things I've seen was Mercedes DAS system. I remember the Netflix show about it, and it had Horner and Toto talking about it, and the conversation went roughly like this.. Horner: "Yeah man, I'm just not sure it's legal." Toto: "But it's cool, right?" Honer smiles, "Yeah man, that is cool." I might be off on how I remember it, but really just shows that it's just a bunch of engineers at heart who love and thrive on innovation.

yeah man, no worries. If you end up with any questions or (god forbid) an injury, feel free to reach out and I can try and help out. I think you're spot on with scales. They are pointless unless your a boxer trying to qualify for a certain weight class. I'm 6'1", and 175lbs. Now that could mean that I'm slim and in shape, or not in shape whatsoever. We done own a scale anymore, so I'm guessing weight, but you get the point. Just know where you want to be fitness wise, and then do it.

If you are starting to get into running, feel free to PM me. I use to be a certified running coach with USATF, and might can help if you want. I am a serious runner myself, although since COVID...no wait, since having a child, my weekly miles has gone down significantly.

I rarely eat takeaway, but I think it has more to do with my IBS than weight. I have never had weight issues with my running routine, but really, my IBS has gotten so bad I'm slowly becoming pescatarian, where you eat only vegetables and fish. Usually so many things have almost crippled me for hours that eating fast food feels like I'm killing myself.
  12. Oh my, this is right up my ally. I'm working on We, The Drowned, which is about sea exploration and it's brilliant. I'll have to add this behemoth to the queue

Still prefer the gas, but it's good to know the technology has been upgraded in the electric oven field.

    Cooking

Anyone use pressure cookers or air fryers? We were gifted both, and they are both very interesting and make cooking easier and still very tasty. Last night I got some salmon, and barely sprinkled some seasoning on it, with some oil and lemon, and then put it in the air fryer, and it came out perfect. I didn't take a photo, but it looked like this and definitely still had it's moist and flaky center.

Gas is the way. Doesn't remain hot after turning off and I've found is more consistent when cooking.

  20. I can't think of a stadium in Germany that I don't have a desire to see. It seems like most of the ones in the top two divisions (and even lower) are some pretty cool stadiums.

Oh, Tsitsipas being a prick? Color me shocked.
  22. Has my memory left me...? I thought he was, but I could be wrong.
  23. Is Gio certain for next year? How about Danny Ric? He's been a bit shit since leaving RB... Tsunoda, MazeSPIN, and Latifi are all fine to go elsewhere.
