It's not just a 'media' thing though, the numbers back it up that it's watched worldwide more than 99% of sports, and the only one I can think of that is so dominated my teams and players from one country.
-
Yeah - I do know the London games seems to be a massive hit, and it's not even that the sport is played almost entirely in the US, but that the players are mostly all American. NFL is by far the largest sport here in the U.S., and maybe...my 4th or 5th favorite, as the injuries are so severe that sometimes it's hard to watch.
-
I'm still surprised people outside of US watch the Super Bowl, as it's not really an 'international' sport, and compared to your version of 'football', it's incredibly slow and LOOOOONNNNGGGGG.
-
I hope the Eagles win. Their QB, WR, and OL man all went to the same Uni as I, and Jalen Hurts has to be one of the most humble and hard working athletes in American sports.

That's an insane amount of people for a demonstration. Good for them, now we just need to hope that Lim is tired of his toy and moves on. -
Even funnier is that salt actually doesn't expire. haha

Linkin Park released a song today which had Chester as lead, but was previous not released and from what I read, was somewhat forgotten. Today it was released.

Lance, IMO, might be the 15th best driver on the grid, so I'm not sure I could ever imagine a world where he is a World Champion unless Max, Lewis, Leclerc, Sainz, Perez, Norris, and George retire, Lance moves to Mercedes, and the rest of the field fails epically.

Did anyone hear about this? https://www.football-espana.net/2023/02/09/la-liga-exclude-real-madrid-and-barcelona-officials-as-superleague-gains-traction Reports are that La Lia president, Tebas, is trying to exclude Real Madrid and Barcelona from being apart of the discussions about the leagues future, thus giving them basically no say on the direction of the league. This is large part because the two clubs (along with Juventus) are the driving factors for the new Super League discussions. -

Yes, but from what I remember (and have read since then), there were amazingly in even worse shape financially before Lim came along, but the idea of a rich foreign investment gave the Valencia fans something excited to look forward to, and instead has turned into shambles. They wanted someone like Abramovich, and instead got someone worse than the Glazer's. -
Go Eagle. Hurts, Smith, and Dickerson are all Alabama legends, so I'd love for them to win the SB together.

Yep, read that this AM. For those that haven't and don't want to, here's the scope. Lim sees Valencia as a toy, and hasn't been to Spain in years to watch a Valencia match. -
I heard about this while making dinner. I'll admit that I know nothing about him, but I have to trust the Atlanta Front Office in that they vetted him well enough to know that he'll fit in nicely and provide some goals, as that's what we are missing more than anything.
-
Starts in just a few weeks (February 25). Atlanta United are home against San Jose, so hopefully things have changed and this year will be different for United. No Jose Martinez could be a weird sight as he was the last remaining key player from the MLS Cup winning United team.

Sorry to have brought up painful truths. The key people are still here, and that's what matters.
-
On another note, this forum seems to have fallen off even more in the past 12 months. Is there some truth in that or am I just mistaken?

Crazy that you are reading this, as I was just talking about picking this book up again (I tried years ago and never finished). Let me know what you think. I'm about to finish this - Which is really good actually, as he lived in a ashram, and there was a time in my life that I was seriously considering becoming a Buddhist monk. Volume 2 of the series, and the first book was fantastic, whereas this one hasn't caught my attention yet and I haven't felt inspired by the words as of yet, but I'm not half-way through yet so we'll see how it progresses. And then this, which so far is a fantastic read about someone I know very VERY little about.

Ah, cheers. Yeah, I'm not sure if I'll ever be back as much as I was, but I figured I'd drop in and see how everyone was doing. Family is doing well! I hope the same for you, and that you and your family have been doing well. Thank you sir! Again, not sure I'll ever be 'back', but it's nice to pop in from time to time. Hope you've been doing well!
-
Thank you, you two. It was a good day and I'm certainly blessed. Hope you both are doing well.
-
thank you sir. Really appreciate the well wishes from everyone
-
Thank you both!

I'm alive and still here. There was an internal dispute that I felt like the scapegoat for so I figured my time, energy, and money was better spent elsewhere. Hope you're doing well though!

Just decided to log in to see if my account was still active. But yeah, there are a lot of cities trying to get remote workers to move there. I have seen some cities offering free moving services and $10k to move there and stay for 3-5 years at least.

Ha thanks but I'm not back, was just told about this and wanted to help out Coma. So, with Augsburg, the IBAN is an international bank number. For Augsburg, they provided me with their account numbers, and I was able to just set up a wire transfer directly into their accoutn with my Mitiglied # .
