I agree in most part that there are better ways to resolve issues and that is with the benefit of hindsight. Was Israels response to the attrocities of Oct 7 disproportionate? No as a Jewish person it had the same numbing effect as 9/11. I woke up and heard the news and when you have family in Israel it becomes a lot more personal. Fortunately they were safe but many others were not that lucky. The solutions to this 80 year problem seem elusive, however I can't see how peace is possible when ideology exists that wishes to write us out of existence. Two state has been on the table for a century, and maybe people should start listening to what they have said all along, they don't want a two state, they want the destruction of our civilization and October 7 was only a mild showing of the utter malcontent they have for us. How many times do we need to do the same song and dance before we realise that a new plan is needed. For me the only solution is a new mandate for a transitional government I would say the US and UN security council acting as overseer which if they did their job 15 years ago would have seen that Hamas were not meeting the grade, then again if the UN didn't allow membership to over 100 of its 170+ members that fail the requirements for human rights then maybe the UN wouldnt be as useless. Will see how it plays out, Hamas should as far as possible be routed out and eliminated, I'm not sure if it can be completely flushed out but it can be weakened to the point the civilian population are no longer threatened by them.

It is correct, there is another video which is 5 years old that talks about the likely fade of Russia by 2050 the population will die off with the bulk of Russians being over 35. their military is outdated and their game changers planed in the early 2000's when they hit a boom are still barely prototypes, the SU57 only 6 flying and the T14 Armata hasn't even been approved from a prototype. Ukraine need to dig in like Russia did, if they do that within a year Russia's military will be depleted. If Russia is smart, they will fortify what they have and not commit troops to death for vanity. Holding Eastern Ukraine gives Russia a good base of operations. NATO should be starting it's mobilisation now, draft conscription for basic training just in case there is a flair up

The only thing NATO has done here is show how undersupplied they are by spending the best part of a decade selling off high ordinance stockpiles. The Ukraine war shows that Artillery and missile stockpiles should have been retained instead of selling them to potential enemies like Turkey. NATO has also missed military recruitment targets for the last decade by some margin and it is alarming given how they are mirroring the same problem Russia have with the fact that it takes 2-3 years to train up a recruit, sure you can fast track that but the quality of soldier falls off significantly. Russia's ability to mobilise is overstated, they have logistics problems a lot down to the geography of russia being very bad for logistics routes, years of inaction in expansion projects has left the 1920's lines being the same ones as today, that means one rail system in and out, when it si struck it holds up supplies which impacts the front. I don't think Russia have the capacity to roll over anyone.

Putin threatening nuclear war while claiming he is not, the typical strong arming tactic when he realises the cost of taking Eastern Ukraine cost him a lot in human and mechanical resources. Russia's peak munitions supply is now and should last until 2025 after which Russia will be in a deficit, by mid 2025 Ukraine should be rearmed. I don't think Russia have the military capacity to be aggressive. This may end up grinding into a stalemate where Russia is content with to Donbas and Ukraine has the rest.

69 days left, can't end fast enough

I only say the first was better because it came with massive expectations and delivered. When people delve into game to movie, it is often a flop, resident evils (certainly after 2), Doom tend to miss the mark by a lot. Dune Part 1 stuck the landing making Dune Part 2 to already be expected to be good. It was long, I went to the 11:30 showing and got out about 14:30, granted I think it only started at 12:00.

Dune: Part 2. The first movie is better as it exceeded expectations and set up a good base for the sequals. part 2 is still a very good movie well worth the price of a day out at the cinema. Some subtle changes to the book but still works well. Barron Harkonnen was killed by a Gom Jabbar in the books but he is killed in a more personal way in the move that fits well. Rabban also dies in the books to fremen but in the movie they made it more personal by letting Gurrny Hallock kill him. Part 3 is set up well for a galactic civil war

According to who? I have not read of a civil uprising although This vlog does go into detail on the rise of nation states and the deconstruction of western liberalism with referance to Germany. I haven't of any coup DE tat in Germany and the AFD seem to have momentum for populist vote. If we use the ideological subversion implantation that Russia infected the west with, I would say we are in stage 2 of that 4; demoralisation, destabilization is achieved civic nationalism is destroyed, nationhood is destroyed and moral norms are perversed. Fascism is banning political opponents because they are gaining populism. Because they are nationalists is not sufficient proof of fascism. Fascism has thrived in socialistic systems, Yuri Bezmenov on his 1984 interview on ideological subversion in the first 30-40 minutes talks about fascism in Soviet Russia and how socialism only works for the connected everyone else was a dissident, a slave. In modern politics fascism is a term loosely thrown around to villianise alternative ideology.
