  1. Week 6 Results AFC Wimbledon 3-0 MK Dons Millwall 0-1 Luton Como 2-2 Bologna Marseille 2-0 Nice AZ Alkmaar 9-1 Heerenveen LA Galaxy 4-2 LAFC Hertha Berlin 0-2 Dusseldorf Girona 1-4 Barcelona Trabzonspor 1-1 Besiktas Monza 1-1 Inter Milan Round-up A total of 38 goals across the 10 games, and nearly a quarter of those goals came in one game, AZ's 9-1 victory over Heerenveen! It was all change in the table - predictably nobody getting the above game exact - but @Rucksackfranzose fires his way into the lead after outscoring the previous leader, @6666, by 3 points. Top score came from @Spike, with 16 points, and that meant he climbed up to 4th. @RandoEFC could only muster up 8 points as he drops to 5th, whilst @Tommy was 2nd-highest this week after adding 15 points to his tally. Both @Tommy and @6666 deserve a shout-out for being the only ones to guess Como's 2-2 draw with Bologna correctly. A vast mix of scores meant that there's only 6 points separating 3rd down to 9th.
  2. That's not how the seasons go...
  3. Yeah it's quite bold. I don't slate the ambition at all, but it's not like there's ever a clear run for a trophy, even the League Cup. His record might show that he wins trophies in the 2nd season, but it's a different kettle of fish for what Spurs are up against both domestically and in Europe.
  4. Not offside, apparently. If the angle isn't possible for a decision to be definitively overturned then the original decision should stay. This isn't a gripe at Crystal Palace, but one of the things Mike Dean said on Soccer Saturday was that Selhurst Park was one of the most difficult grounds for VAR because of the camera angles. Of all the money in the game at the PL's hands, the fact they are unable to get definitive angles for key decisions at any given point in the game is so amateur.

  10. Premier League football is back and @Rajabhat Rovers is the biggest mover of the weekend as he climbs to 4th from 9th after securing 20 points. @Dan holds on to 1st place despite being one of the lowest scorers (although 12 is a decent haul anyway). @nawoo also climbs a few spaces after scoring 17 points. He is within a bunch of players where there is only 5 points separating 5th through to 11th. @Bluewolf also scored well with 15 points. The same difference splits 1st through to 4th but a strong week can help anyone climb up considerably!
  11. When you transfer Tsunoda in for Colapinto in Fantasy GP
  12. Bournemouth been all over Chelsea. Chelsea have the depth to nick a goal though as Bournemouth haven't taken their chances To reward their dominance.
  13. Did Sanchez just scream 'I got the ball ref' after he cleaned out Evanilson ?
  14. Don't worry next week you get a 2-0 lead and don't lose the game.
  15. Does that apply for Watkins missing that chance just now too ?
  16. Okay, so we weren't as bad as expected, but we're simply not going to stay up with such a defensively-minded manager. Starting line-up had little creativity, and arguably our 2 goals came from mistakes from Palace (although Ndidi did well winning the ball high and playing in Vardy). Then the in-game management in 2nd half was diabolical. When you're backs are against the wall, you want a mix of defensive solidity and an outlet to break on, hold up the ball or nullify pressure. What Cooper did was bring on Choudhury for Ndidi (replacing an 'attacking' midfielder with a defensive one). Took off Ayew for Coady. It just brings on pressure when you end up having too many defenders on the pitch so when you clear the ball, it just comes straight back. The equaliser was just purely so inevitable it actually hurts that we all knew it was coming, let alone that we didn't win the game from being 2-0 up. Cooper won't be good enough for us. We'll fail because of him and his decisions.
  17. Not often I think that we deserve to get beaten but when Cooper persists with a starting line up like that it's hard not to. Midfield 3 of Winks, Skipp and Ndidi, with the latter as a 10 is embarrassing. And keeping Fatawu, El Khannous, Buanonotte, Pereira on the bench - mixture of clear quality and experience - is equally as embarrassing. He won't have long left if he persists with this shit. Same old shit after the game as well where Cooper will say we didn't show enough. Well it's fucking hard to when you don't play players that could win you games or help score goals.
