I did find it amusing when the person on the comms kept saying 'of course I still love you'. Took me a couple of times after she said it to realise it was the name of the vessel/ship the rocket would land on Thought she was just being nice.

Went to a local park today for a walk only. Saw 2 separate groups of about 9-10 people each. No social distancing and about 1% chance, if that, they're all living in the same household given they all looked similar ages. 2 police officers also walking around. Walked straight past the groups. Not even a warning to socially distance. Not even a cursory look in their direction to think there may be an issue. It's no wonder people go out to parks and take the risk - when they know it's unlikely police will do anything, what's the deterrent

Probably not that deep but this is pretty cool...

It does make you wonder, right? Even if it's a comms thing with the Police, getting them prepared for Monday's changes, could they not just disclose it to them, first, instead of plastering it over the media (through 'sources' between journos/government. Ironically it makes the Police's job harder. Managing surge in crowds on a hot weekend before changes are official. Agree that government communications through the whole thing has been lacklustre at times, confusing at most. And like the number of people tested being 'unavailable' for a whole week now...

Up to the point they don't agree with it or political favourings take precedence.

Quite a few advisers within SAGE saying so.

Evolution is a funny old thing. Such weird and wonderful creatures down there. The photography of it all is impressive too.

What is Boris'/government's obsession with making announcements or letting press know things on a Thursday, when the plans themselves don't come in to force until the Monday? It just paves the way for temptation to strike and the public to do what they're not allowed to before Monday, made even worse given we're in the middle of a spate of great weather and beaches/parks have already been packed out over past few weeks anyway? Do they let media know in advance, on purpose? From a cynical perspective, do they want public areas to be packed out so the attention is on that, as opposed to them the government? I just don't get why the announcement that restrictions are easing can't be made on a Sunday evening or even Monday itself? Why a Thursday evening?

You'd rather stick sheep in a dead woman? You odd man.
