@Paulo Dybala Biscarosse pictures A nearby large lake A beach near Arcachon Saint Emilion (vineyard and nearby village we took a stroll around) Dune de Pilat which I mentioned earlier
  5. Reminds me of F1 2000 on Playstation One where if you went to fast round a corner on Melbourne you'd see your car go in to the sea And on the Hockenheim circuit as you came round the final turn you'd be able to take a shortcut literally through the start of the pit wall and not crash
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_National_League#Play-offs 2nd and 3rd get a bye to the semis. 4th-7th play a knockout. Winners play 2nd and 3rd respectively (not sure how it's decided who plays 2nd and 3rd though?) Then winners of those play the final and get promoted along with 1st place.
  7. if anyone remembers Jerzy Dudek in 2005 Champions League final saving point blank while diving to prevent a Shevchenko shot from about 2 yards out, Lawrence Thomas just did exactly that.
  8. Thomas is having a superb game.
  9. Amazing save by Thomas to keep Victory ahead. Very good game this. Dare I say it would not have been this exciting if Sydney were in it...
  10. VAR replays showed Donachie to be offside. Somehow not corrected though as it was clear offside...
  11. yeah he had the shot but looked like Koutroumbis tapped it in for an own goal.
  12. Even start but Victory have the breakthrough! Looked like an own goal but Barbarouses claiming it.

    Tips & Bets 365

I sometimes have a couple of bets when I watch a game and one of them may always be a bit ambitious like that one above. Rarely comes about but there's so many varying selections for Request-a-Bets these days you can get so close.
  14. British comedy show https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1844923/
  15. sorry to interrupt your TV love in @nudge and @Bluewolf but there's an important service announcement. FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER IS BACK . Channel 4. Now.
  16. @Mantis Toboggan M.D. while they're not bad players in themselves, I think Liverpool could do better: Yacob is nothing. Only thing he has is aggressiveness and thuggery. Rondon - decent but I can't see him in the Liverpool side? Not with the style you play anyway. Pieters - Always seen him as CB? Perhaps @Dickie could confirm. I may be wrong but even if he came in as cover, not up to Liverpool standard. Sobhi - probably the only one that could improve under Klopp with how he plays Cedric - with VVD, Lovren, Matip - another CB needed? Romeu - now he would be better than Yacob! He would improve a lot of teams in the league. Redmond - I think he's gone past the point of having potential. He's now 24 and not playing regularly for a side that's even going down? If you need a winger there's plenty out there that you could get that are better than Redmond (not Mahrez )

Most games in non league would get called off around new year/January time cos of the shite weather we have. You'll get postponed matches cos of frozen pitches or waterlogged.

Never been Biarritz mate so can't compare! Beaches are amazing though. Love it there. There's a place we went to called Dune de Pilat not far from one of the beaches near Bordeaux. It's the tallest sand dune in Europe. Must admit that when we went, it's the best viewpoint I've had of a sunset and hundreds of people flock there each day (in summer, anyway) to catch a sight of how scenic the sunset can be. I'll get some pictures up later.
  20. if anyone watches Taskmaster (on Dave), it's back on screens tomorrow
