  1. I just can't get my head around calling Edge Adam copeland xD

I always find it quite interesting how some wrestlers are better at wwe promos when they are more scripted. And some are better with promos that are less scripted. I think the more experienced and better speakers are better when they aren't. Edge is one of them. He does seem better when he does promos that he has planned himself

@Stan sadly this attitude towards referees is a culture at the club that's seeped in over time through Jurgen Klopp.

I was embarrassed for him at Selhurst watching him chewing his veneers like some crack addict desperate for his fix yelling obscenities at the officials at every occasion. After that I noticed it a lot more, all fan bases thought Andy Robertson shouting at that official before getting clocked was out of order, Liverpool fans thought it was fair game. Nearly all fan bases thought Moruinho was a disgrace for his antics after the Europa Conferance final, Liverpool fans thought it was fair game.

Now they've got this ghost goal to justify viewpoints and behaviours that are quite frankly unacceptable.

The thing is there are actually less people getting into refereeing because of the way they are treated. So the standard may well drop.

My attitude is how would you feel if it was your son or daughter. Even if you feel the people involved should be sacked. Personal insults are wrong. If you work for a large company and your manager insults you personally they will get in trouble. They will get sacked if they do it time and time again. They're isn't justification for it. With all social media and that I would imagine it does get back to the people involved. Probably not from this site but some of it from social media will

Seems all 6 countries will get automatic qualifucation.

Most of them probably would qualify anyway. However Morocco and Paraguay may well not of. I do wonder of one day countries and teams might break away from fifa because of all the greed and corruption. It would be hard but I think it could be done.  Interesting thing is a lot of the corruption started in 1978 when all the money got into fifa. I doubt there has been a world cup since that hasn't had dodgy voting because of bribes.

I'm going to start calling you Mary because you're quite contrary xD.

Of course I make mistakes. But I'll own them and accept them. And try not to make the same ones again.

VAR officials (collectively) seem to be consistently making errors. Which makes me think their training isn't adequate enough or their seniors aren't taking enough responsibility either. Or they don't have the right structure in place to ease the pressure on the officials involved.

But thanks Gunnersaurus. Whatever you say. Welcome back.

They've literally said it was a bad error. And they've been trying to improve it for the last 4 years. And the errors aren't as often as some people make out as a lot of them are open to interpretation. I've said myself I don't think the system I ideal.  I think with penalties and red cards they should be allowed to say what they think is more likely, not have to be certain as I think you would get more decisions right that way. And I don't think it would slow down the game to much. However with goals I think it should only be disaload for clear and obvious errors as it would slow the game down to much and you would loose that euphoria of goals being scored. Var hasn't worked as well as I thought it would. But I'm still aware of fact that you can't just get anyone to do their job. They still have to have a lot of training. I'm saying you have said that but some have. I'm perfectly fine with them receiving critism. I criticised them last night in our game. But I still acknowledge that they know more than me and that the people who run referee organisations know more than me about how how to run organisations. I don't pretend these mistakes are mistakes that no reasonable person would make

If that's what they do it's not to bad, other than the teams fans who have to play Uruguay in Montevideo and then fly back to Europe.  The articles says games in three South American countries, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

I think that's a separate bid mate. It is a bit confusing having a country involved in two bids though

The lines weren't drawn. It's protocol I thought to draw the lines. If he lost track that's on him, and the ownership/responsibility of that mistake is on him.

It was just as bad an error as it led to a goal being ruled out unnecessarily so.

The goal was before Spurs scored their first. Just a couple of minutes before.

I dont know if they  draw them for every goal. He didn't draw them because they're was a potential offside in the build up which turned out to be on side. Then it went into an offside position and he didn't check that one. I think there may have been a potential handball as well which was cleared so there was a lot more going on.  The Liverpool goal was a simple on or offside so there was less to keep track of. So it was a worse mistake I think.

Was the Liverpool disallowed goal before or after the sending of?

  7. 1 hour ago, Stan said:

I've just seen that he said 'something like that has never happened' too.

Which is wrong. Brentford had a goal awarded against Arsenal after VAR officials forgot to draw the lines last season (?).

Goalline technology failed Bournemouth against Villa (think they were the teams) - directly impacting the survival/relegation of both clubs.

Where were the calls to replay those games?

He didn't forget to draw the lines in the arsenal game. He just lost track as players went offside to onside back to offside. Even though it was against arsenal I would admit it wasn't as bad an error. I and I think there was some call to replay it but not as vocal.

Looking at it when was the goal scored? At what minute? It was in between spurs first and Liverpool equaliser wasn't it?  Liverpool equalised late in the first half. I'm not sure if they would have been pushing forward so much if the goal had stood. It might not have affected it much.

Liverpool have had decisions go their way. They've had more premier league penalties than man utd. Stop making out you are so hard done by all the time

Sounds like it'll be heading here to UK & Ireland...

Apparently we may still have to qualify. If none of the hosts qualify the two best placed teams will qualify. It's not conformed but it's been suggested. Which does make a certain amount of sense considering it's 5 countries

The Walking Dead - Daryl Dixon spin off is pretty good - highly recommended for your viewing pleasure.

I haven't seen the last couple of seasons of the walking dead but I've heard they're are those mutated walkers that are more intelligent. Originally walkers were gonna be more intelligent but they changed the writers in the second season and he had different ideas. That is why they are more intelligent in season 1. But now they have found a good way to explain it

I like Eddie's promos but he's so out of shape and that chop thing he does in the corner looks so bad people need to stop pretending that it hurts.

Yeah it is an issue. When you are a champion you represent the brand. Which is why I'm not sure if it is likely to happen.  Eddie looks like someone you would see on the independent scene. I don't mind aew keeping elements of that independent scene feel. It's been criticised by some but  it's what it was built on. But you can't really have someone who is really overweight representing your brand even if he is very popular.

I didn't get 'it' with Jay White. In Impact he just felt like a midcarder, but I've been really enjoying him, Juice and The Gunns. They've been a real high point on Colission.

I rarely watch collision. There's one guy I wouldn't mind as champion.  But I think he's divisive and you either would like him as champion or hate it it, is Eddie Kingston.  I don't think anyone doubts his mike skills. However his wrestling skills aren't great. He can still have a great match though as he can get the crowd emotionally invested so well.  Thats something I didn't understand that well until I went to all in.

As i said it does seem though that people are really all for it or all against it. There doesn't seem to much in between. Personally I'd like to see it. Apart from maybe Bryan Daneilson he is probably my favourite wrestler.

Yeah Swerve's been great with Nana. Him, Jay White with Bullet Club Gold or Will Ospreay are all people I'd like to see potentially beat MJF.

I think Jay White needs a bit longer. If I didn't know who he was he wouldn't stand out to me that much. I have heard  it suggested he perhaps needs to work on his promos to suit American audiences more. I think swerve needs one more rivalry with an uppercarder and then if he does well maybe take the title. I would like osprey to win it at all in personally. And I think it could be an amazing match if he takes on omega. So if swerve were to win at full gear or even later that would give enough time for 3 title changes. Especially as omega has already held it

Why does the VAR say 'off' if they're going with the narrative that he thought the onfield decision was onside?

VAR: Check complete, check complete. That's fine, perfect (showing Diaz is clearly onside). Off.

They said something about one of them(possibly the referee) can't hear what one of them (ole I think) was saying. But I don't think the referee is involved in that part so I don't think that's it. I think possibly because he thinks the goal has been allowed he doesn't pay enough attention and so doesn't notice him say off.

  14. I can understand where it has gone wrong after hearing it. I work in an environment that needs good communication or everything breaks down. But the communication here  is to casual. It should be more structures and disciplined. That should already be in place. Obviously there is human error here but there should be a system like in rugby where it is clear.  Mistakes can still happen but if you have a clear system of communication there it is less likely. As I said I work in an environment where good communication is essential. I sometimes find it hard to make words out after years of ear infections  and because its load.  So I  always ask for clear instructions and repeat them back to make sure. It's very frustrating working with people who muffle and turn away when talking to you or who aren't very clear with what they mean.  But this is elite level sport it should be better than this. Communication is everyone's responsibility, everyone has to make sure they are as clear as they can be that they have given their instruction clearly and that they are sure they understand instruction clearly.

Could tell how furious he was with each goal that they conceded against Swindon. Either he knew he wasn't up to it, or he was just angry at how shit the players are in front of him. Or both!

What does he expect its league 2. Its not gonna be Messi and Ronaldo. To be honest it's probably the strongest 4th division in the world most are amuture.

  16. To be fair to lampard he did well at Derby and he did well in his first season at Chelsea. Everton seem to be shit whoever they get in. Same with Chelsea since tuchel left and since the American took over.  He's actually really intelligent lampard. His I.Q is near genius level apparently. I think he has bad people skills though. I also think not every player is as driven and determined as him and he finds that difficult
