Ah yea, every NRL player smacking his woman makes global news. I'm sure you know all about Jack DeBalin and Tristan Sailors ongoing cases and so on. 

If someone put a compendium of ongoing/new cases for 2021 even I'D fucking be surprised. Because it all sort of just washes over you after a while. 

I'd say in Australia, NRL has the worst behavior, by a margin of more than double. AFL would be next, then football, then rugby.

You don't live here cunt. The AFL has a few scandals a year. But scandals that are back page AFL news barely make the NRL corner segment. You only hear about the worst NRL scandals, or the funny ones ( big pappi) There's literally a new domestic violence case in the NRL every fortnight or so.

I was dating a chick who though NRL players were 'hot and cool" (she was half Czech, half islander, looks of the Czech brains of the islander. Under age 20 so add all the naivety that entail) and I could not get away from her fast enough. I bear her no ill will but she's already been sexually harassed by one local NRL talent (Wendel Sailors son no less) and a friend of hers had dated one back in high school until she discovered he was fucking half her highschool and a dozen others besides maybe it'll take one knocking her teeth out before she gets it.

Germany 2014 was underwhelming for the most part, but they got the job done. The squad quality was too much.

Germany 2018 was bad, but I'm not all convinced it was Low's doing. This new generation isn't even close to the previous one, Low was certainly part of the problem and was found out as a shit manager because he no longer had the same squad quality that he used to. I'm not convinced they would have been the main favourites even with another manager.

That said, this Germany side now is still much better than the one late 90's/early 2000's so they can never be ruled out of anything regardless.

It was 80% Lows outrageously poor selection and tactics. And 15% Timo Werner. The other 5% is for Kimmich playing RB, passing the ball backwards 167 times a game. 

You have one of the worlds best midfielders. You play him in defense. You play a wasteful midget at striker when you have one of the best goalscorers of the modern era at home. You play Toni Kroos no matter how poor he is that year. You're Joachim Low. And you deserve to have your balls electrocuted.

I wanna just take a second to talk about the German national team. And how much Low is a fucking embarrassment at this stage. 

Last game played, Germany lost 6-0 to spain. With this line up

Obviosuly there are some experimental aspects to this side, and it doesn't necessarily represent our best 11. But it leads me to so many questions.

Why attempt to play a wonderful winger as a false 9?
Why are we even trying midfield combos that aren't based around Goretzka/Kimmich, the 2 players who make up the core of the worlds best teams midfield? 
Why has Timo Werner been picked? At all? 

Lets lay it out, and I'd love to hear opinions. 

Goalkeepers. Neuer, Ter Stegen, Trapp. This is a no brainer. Ter Stegen is one of the best in the world, as is Neuer. Neuer is older, but thats good in a keeper and he plays every week with half the fucking team. 3rd choice is down to user taste but relatively unimportant. I like Trapp personally. 

Center backs. Sule is Germanys best CB IMO. But who we pair him with is the riddle. I don't think theres a perfect answer, but I think Rudiger is most likely to compliment Sule well, and he generally performs better with a better player next to him. Ginter and Tah are the other 2 I'm happiest with personally. 

Full backs. Big problem area IMO. On the left, I think Halstenberg is the man. I don't hate Schultz, but he's not much of a fucking defender is he? More a guy who can be an aggressive overlapper against shit teams.  Right back, Kimmich is NOT THE ANSWER! He MUST play in midfield next to Goretzka. WHY WOULD YOU FUCK UP THE BAYERN PAIR? Whos the guy for the job? Klosterman? Ginter? 

Midfield. Goretzka and Kimmich. WHY THE FUCK WOULDN'T YOU? In front of them, we have several options. Kroos, Havertz and Gundogan. Reus and Brandt can also play in the middle, but Reus is made of bread sticks and Brandt likes to play wide. I think Gundogan is the choice here. He's on fire at city. I like having Reus and Brandt on the bench for versatility though

Wide attackers. Sane and Gnabry play football week in week out with Goretzka and Kimmich. They're bot excellent and full of flair. FUCKING PLAY THEM. One each side. EZ. Brandt, Reus Havertz. These are the other options. FUCK OFF WERNER. Unless we're playing 2 up front (we wont) or we're playing fucking Slovenia or Estonia, the guy can fuck off. He's not even good as a super sub as he gets WORSE as opposition teams sit deeper. 

Striker. Muller. Just play the guy. Man roams, scores goals. Playing him makes it harder to play other roaming players -ie- Kai Havertz. But fuck it. He's our best hope of a consistent stream of goals and the country only seems to produce keepers and midfielders these last 10 years. Waldschmit, Volland are sadly our best actual forwards, and neither is pulling up trees.

Listening to podcasts like Grilling JR, 83 weeks, Something to Wrestle With etc. has somewhat changed my opinion on Cornette. I get the impression you need somebody with his grounded approach to wrestling on a booking team to stop the product getting carried away in any form of wrestling company. He comes across as very difficult to imagine working with but then again so do they all (Heyman, Pritchard, Dunn, JR etc).

The guy has done everything in wrestling. Given everything to wrestling, and contrary to belief, doesn't hate everyone under 100kgs. He loves the UE boys, and Fin Balor for example. The things he dislikes are generally quite reasonable. Yeah, he's old fashioned, but I do think you need that opinion around.
