  1. It’s not a case of treating him badly. He’s been injured the majority of the last two years. At some point it has to give. Giving him a settlement would be cheaper than his wages for the season. Instead, all he has done is sit in the sidelines with full pay, using up the club’s medical resources. It’s very frustrating to see when players end up in this position. I have sympathy for a player who gets a bad injury, but when you’re a constant sick note, then it starts becoming a real issue for me. Being fit and available is part of being a good professional. Can we say that Thiago has been worth the investment overall, I’m not sure we can.
  2. Get him off the wage bill. They knew he wasn’t going to play before the new year, surely?
  3. He’s out of contract and the likelihood is that he isn’t going to contribute much to the rest of this campaign, yet we’ll fix him up to go and play elsewhere. It’s very frustrating. The club should have moved him on in the summer, even if that meant releasing him.
  4. He was on the pitch for ten fucking minutes.
  5. Past Lives was brilliant. 8.5/10 Wind River was better second time around. 8.5/10
  6. Van Dijk saying he’s not sure he’ll be here when Klopp leaves. I think there is be a handful of players who leave with him. I’d be surprised if Salah stayed for next season.
  7. Rashford is an overrated prick. His work off the pitch is great, but he is clearly unprofessional when it comes to football. He’s been dogshit all season, and has the nerve to start doing this shit out of protest. I’d sell to the highest bidder.
  8. Salah off injured for Egypt. Apparently looks like a hamstring injury. Fuck sake.
  9. Hopefully Newcastle are stupid enough to hire him and he can ruin them.
  10. Bradley getting a run at RB? I don’t know what else we could do.
  11. Saying he wants to repay Brentford and stay. Huge for them, unless they were desperate to cash in.
  12. Even if Szoboslai is out? I don’t like the idea of MacAllister as the 6 against Arsenal this weekend. Especially if it ends up being Jones & Harvey either side. That isn’t much protection for that back two.
  13. Robertson was dropping back to make it a 3 at times when Trent moved into the middle during parts of games, but it wasn’t the full games. I would like to see it set up like that with Quansah starting alongside Virgil and Konate. Trent and Gomez either side a midfield two of McAllister & Jones if Szoboslai is out for a couple of weeks would make me feel more confident going into the next few games while we are missing Endo. I don’t like the idea of having Harvey in a midfield 3, especially without a proper #6 next to him.
  14. Klopp won’t go with a back three, I wish he would while we are short , but he won’t.
  15. I agree that the media and fans are running away a bit with the “city are done” sort of talk, but you can’t deny that they have looked very bad at times this season. Yes, they are missing DeBruyne, but that’s the only major player missing, otherwise they have had a relatively fit squad. Phillips doesn’t deserved mentioned, because Pep would quit literally play his grandmother at CM over him. Nunes has looked poor whenever he has played this season, but obviously deserves time to catch up at this level. Kovacic has been crap though, he has really struggled to affirm any sort of control in that midfield. When Pep is playing a teenage RB in midfield over you, then you know you’re fucked. Losing Gundogan and Mahrez in the summer was a major hammer blow. They just haven’t replaced them whatsoever, not only the quality but their knack of dragging the team across the line when they aren’t at their best in games. Doku has potential, but has he really been THAT good? Looked very raw against us, didn’t really do anything with his speed against Trent. I’d still pick Grealish over him everytime. There is definitely a hangover from last season. They don’t look as motivated as they have in previous years. They haven’t exactly looked dominant against anybody this season, and the Villa game showed especially that they can be kept quiet completely, which has never really been the case under Pep. Maybe they’ll turn it on again once DeBruyne is back, but I’ve got a feeling that Pep is going to rush him back to the team again, especially if they go into Jan 6/7 points behind the leaders.
  16. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Potter take over at West Ham in the summer. Doubt they offer Moyes another deal.
  17. Really shit if that’s how it ends for him at the club.
  18. I was worried about Alisson, I thought he would have been out for longer. If those are the only games he misses, then we have gotten off lightly. Shame about Jota, but we have good cover for him. Just need Darwin to start putting away more of the chances he gets, he’s got a way to go to be as clinical as Diogo.
  19. If your club was innocent of the uefa charges, you wouldn’t have paid a fine, 30m wasn’t it?
  20. The Killer - 7/10 Good film, not Fincher’s best work but very entertaining and easy to watch. Fassbender was great.
