  1. When he gets on the pitch, all of that goes out the window and he plays mediocre football at best.
  2. Even if Szoboslai is out? I don’t like the idea of MacAllister as the 6 against Arsenal this weekend. Especially if it ends up being Jones & Harvey either side. That isn’t much protection for that back two.
  3. Robertson was dropping back to make it a 3 at times when Trent moved into the middle during parts of games, but it wasn’t the full games. I would like to see it set up like that with Quansah starting alongside Virgil and Konate. Trent and Gomez either side a midfield two of McAllister & Jones if Szoboslai is out for a couple of weeks would make me feel more confident going into the next few games while we are missing Endo. I don’t like the idea of having Harvey in a midfield 3, especially without a proper #6 next to him.
  4. Klopp won’t go with a back three, I wish he would while we are short , but he won’t.
  5. Could Diaz stay on his feet? Probably, but his attempt on goal after being knocked off balance by that tackle will be affected. So of course you want him to go down. Is it cheating? Not at all, it’s him making sure the inept bald cunt gives the foul. Jota’s is full blown cheating, contact or not. He can stay in his feet easily without his attempt on goal being affected by the contact from the keeper. Shocked that it stood.
  6. I hope Klopp gives Jota a bollocking for it. If Jota says he went down because he felt he wasn’t getting the ball, that’s one thing. I don’t agree with that sort of cheating, but that’s an explanation for his actions. He needs to just stay on his feet, and put the ball in an open net and not risk Salah or whoever else missing the pen.
  7. The only reason is that he believes he’s put too much on the touch around the keeper, but it didn’t look like he did. Puzzling decision, and I was surprised it stood.
  8. We’ve been toothless again, it’s not good enough from this attack. The ref has been a right plonker as well. Joelinton has had about 5/6 fouls without a card.
  9. That was terrible from Nunez. He needs to sort himself out, cause there’s no excuse not to score.
  10. Neville doesn’t half talk some shite. Saying Diaz delayed going down for the one, he went down right away. Big nosed muppet.
  11. They have bottled the run in for three years running. Two failed attempts at a champions league qualification, followed by last year. They have a soft underbelly.
  12. I was thinking of backing this, or possibly a win. They have more grit than this Chelsea team.
  13. At no point have I said that Nunez wasn’t a good player. Obviously he is a good player and can cause the defence a headache. That doesn’t change the fact that he was a big investment for this club (not his fault, but we need more from him) and he needs to score way more than he has. Some of the chances he has missed are criminal.
  14. Nunez has potential that is exciting, but the more I watch him the less I think he’s going to live up to that potential. He’s been here 18 months and he is still playing like he’s brand new to the team & league. Diaz has been very good for us overall. He has had his issues this season but there have been good reasons for that so he deserves a lot of slack. But with Salah going off next month, we need him to get back to his best. I think there are a lot of people who overrated our attack before the season started. Salah & Jota are the only consistent scorers. Gakpo is a weird one, because he’s sort of expected to do the Firmino role in that front three, which is does with varying degrees of success. Diaz isn’t super prolific and has been off the boil & Nunez can’t be relied upon to score. We could do with another natural goalscorer in the summer if players don’t step up in the second half of the season.
